Avoid Royal Storage Guelph — A Costly Mistake My experience with Royal Storage Guelph has been nothing short of a nightmare. On the surface, the facility appears clean, modern, and secure, with cameras everywhere and staff ready with a friendly smile. Unfortunately, that image quickly fell apart. Storage unit was broken into , they’re supposed to have security on site yet someone was able to cut my lock on the unit which would have made lots of noise and was able to make many trips to unload my belongings, my unit was not the only one broken into , it would have taken a couple hours as it was several units this just happened a few nights ago .

I do not appreciate the attitude I Recieve from Robin. I find her extremely rude and unprofessional. Starting to look into a new storage place.
The worst experience imaginable... I moved here from Montreal a few years ago and paid in advance, to rent a locker for a year. The first week here, I had over 10 thousand dollars in property stolen. I asked the manager Natalie to check the security cameras, to see who it was and when my items were stolen. She was very smug and said they didn't work, as "they were struck by lightning." She said she would file the insurance claim for me, and months later, Natalie said it was denied.

Amazing people and made it so easy. At the end of my last day with Royal Storage was the worst. Still waiting for my refund since July 23rd its August 10th . No one can give me answers or head office number. So disappointing and I thought these people was so good . Awful

Beware the fine print and avoid verbal notification. I checked the day I was supposed after discussing numerous times with staff, but was charged for an extra week because I did not provide written notification in advance of them charging …
I clearly told them I was moving out on a certain day. They took that day off(haha??) And Than proceeded to apply over $100 in fees to my account demanding I pay it. No thanks. No one ever go here. Save the annoyance.

Communication sucks. They are trying to continue to charge me after I told them I was done using the storage unit. Trying to stifle me of $300+ for no reason

This place is amazing! Sara is one of the kindest, honest, most educated, professional customer service staff that I have ever experienced. Royal Storage certainly has taken it a step above. When I arrived not only did I feel like an old friend she hadn't seen in a while but I felt confident that Sara knew what she was talking about and could help me find the best size to suit my needs. The facility is clean, well kept, affordable and flexible for move in which is what we all want when looking for storage.
