S&Q Movers

I dont recommend S&Q movers. If I can give no stars I would. The movers damage my brand new couch during my move and didnt say anything. When I reach out to Mr. Omar, he claimed the damage may have been there already and that things happen when furniture is moved. He claimed that he was busy and will call me back. I never got a call back. Also the final quote was double the amount of the original quote and he only applied a small discount if you did a review for the company.

1. They were 3 hours late. 2. I was told my items would be wrapped (bedroom set and other items for protection) they did not have shrink wrap and ran out of tape and used mine. 3. Poor communication. 4. Not worth the price. 5. Makes excuses for unprofessional behaviors.

They made a deal with my sister in-law to move her stuff from the Villages Florida to Fayetteville NC. They said that included putting her car on car hauler and bringing up with them. They moved her but did not bring the car as they agreed upon. Then they Omar said that he didn't remember about hauling the car because he didn't bring the car hauler with him then they said they could not get the car hauler because nobody had one and then he said that they could haul the car because the truck was to heavy.

Hi, I hired S & Q to move my personal items on 8/24/2020. Damage occurred and I made several attempts to get the owner to correct the damages and accept responsibility for the repairs needed, but to no avail. Well, eventually I received a text on the 10th of September that they would come to see the damages reported the following day between the hrs of 2-4 pm. However, prior to that I had extended an invitation to my home for he/them to see for themselves.

DO NOT TRUST THIS “COMPANY”. Omar made an agreement to transport my 65-yr old mother, her household goods and her vehicle from FL to NC after my father passed away. He sent the order info to my uncle because my mother does not text or email. Even though the order did not specifically include the vehicle nor giving her a ride, my uncle did not question it because the amount was the same as what was agreed upon.

April 16th Omar was hired to move my family's belongings from one home on base to another. Due to unsafe conditions that could harm my health while pregnant and my children's health I was advised to not enter the home. After paying roughly under $1k for Omar to pack and move everything within the home, I trusted his word when he locked up the first home and guaranteed everything was packed up and ready to move. Was I mistaken for trusting him, absolutely however a company without trust is nothing.

*** DO NOT USE *** S&Q movers located in Fayetteville, NC was recommended to me by a co-worker who had used them before. She highly recommended them. Turns out the reason why is because the owner, Omar is her cousin. I scheduled to use the company to unload a truck of furniture. A very responsible price was given which is why I decided to move forward with them. The very first unprofessional sign was he asked me to complete an application via text.

My interaction with Omar and his team was both professional and pleasant. We hired S&Q Movers to move our items into storage as our government move was unable to accommodate the date we needed to move prior to our renters moving in. My husband and I have been in the military for almost 20 years with greater than 15 moves between the both of us. We can definitely tell between a good and bad move. Unfortunately, this move between our home and into storage was not a good move but greatly subpar.
