In their own words
I contacted Schroeder to move from WISCONSIN to Iowa. Terry did the survey, k we about the cats and the cat odor in the residence. Still, told me it was no problem, gave me an outrageous quote of $14000. Movers showed up, saw the cats and walked away, never saying anything to me. Terry then said I had to go buy fans, open windows and doors and he'd send someone back. That someone return ed, told me no problem, they could pack and load the next day. Then he left. Then Terry told me the move was cancelled.
Very easy to get a hold of when you owe them money, impossible if there is any other concern. The actual workers on either end of the move were pleasant and worked very hard. However they were not given adequate time to do the job and the job wasn’t done completely on delivery. Finding a lot of broken things during unpacking. They won’t even return my emails after expressing my concerns, that’s all they probably would have had to do to correct the issue.

I strongly discourage potential movers from hiring Schroeder Moving Systems which also goes by the name, Boulevard Moving & Storage in Appleton, WI. The movers were personable but were most concerned with efficiency over care of my belongings and property. They ruined my most favorite piece of furniture, a Mid Century Danish Teak King Platform Bed, with multiple scratches on the sideboard, headboard, and footboard. They also scratched a side table and a floor and wall while moving my belongings into my new house.

Do NOT deal with this company – you will be sorry! We contracted with them 5/24/16 to move our household goods from Neenah, WI to South Jordan, UT on 6/23/16. Delivery range of 6/27 to 7/2 was given. Movers arrived promptly 6/23 to load our goods onto their van. Movers were courteous and completed the move out efficiently.

Customer service rep and sales person have poor communication skills. I have emails from them that state one thing as far as moving dates and then when it came time for the move, there were different dates. They made no apology for the inconvenience. It made the move very stressful. For the cost, I would not use Schroeder again. The workers that came to our house worked hard.

Schroeder Moving company was the moving company who did my families multi-state move. The consultation with Chris was a smooth and easy process. Our move coordinator Danielle checked in several times from start to finish to make sure everything was going well. Our actual mover Pete communicated throughout with what time he would be arriving each day. We had a pack day, a load day, and a delivery day. Pete was on time each day and very polite and friendly.

We used Schroeder Moving to move from Wisconsin to Georgia. They packed our entire place as well. Everything went smoothly as planned and promised. They arrived when they said they would. From the first phone call to the final box, Schroeder Moving Systems was amazing! Chris S. was our quote guy - really nice, patient and willing to answer our questions. When contacted with more questions he was always willing to answer those too! It can be nerve-wrecking to have your entire life in a truck for any period of time, but with Schroeder and Aaron C in particular we had no concerns at all! Aaron C. (the main moving guy that was there both days) was just as amazing as Chris C.

Chris did a great job explaining all costs associated with the move and detailing the walk through. Meghan was great following up with progress during the move and keeping us updated on events. The packing service people were nice and packed everything so that when it arrived there was no damage, and Ian was great on loading and delivery making sure he had a great crew that insured everything was safely delivered and located in the home where we wanted it.
