-10 stars! NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - We were forced to use this company because we hired Amerisafe (NOT COMPANY NEVER TO USE) as the broker and they contract out to Seventh Generation. We were scheduled to get my items picked up between 2-6pm from the house I just sold and no longer owned! The driver called me at 430pm saying they were still at another job and could no longer come and would be delayed another day.
All the one star reviews on here are the truth! We were contracted out to 7th Generation through a long distance move broker for our move from California to Georgia. Starting with the day of the move: we were told that the team would arrive on 7/26 between 8-12pm and they’d let us know when they were 90 minutes out. They called the night before to push the pick up time to 2-6pm, due to a delay at a previous pick up. No worries on that.
They quoted us $13,000 to move our stuff. We thought it sounded low and the girl swore and promised us up and down that was the final number. The day they showed up, they said they wouldn’t take our stuff unless we agreed to an ADDITIONAL $10,000+. They had a gun to our head and they knew we had no choice because we told them we had to vacate that day. The lady who quoted us completely ghosted us and didn’t pick up our calls. The poor movers who barely spoke English had to translate this all to us via his boss.
I use them moved me from California to Texas many items were missing over $2500 when filed a claim with their insurance Anthem I was denied! Do Not Use this company you will be highly disappointed!
Horrible experience - do not use this company. Charged us 230% more than the estimate by grossly underestimating our initial quote to get our business, then hit us with 2.3x the price after items were loaded. They threaten you if you don't sign the documents by claiming you'll be charged even more money at higher rates to unload the truck, store items, etc.They leave you with no option on the day of your move, knowing how difficult it will be to pause your move on move day and quickly find another company who is…
Where do I start? Well, at first it seemed promising Sam the rep was nice and gave me great promises. The day of the move was fast, they came in and seemed like we got a good company. The guy in charge then gave us a reevaluation of the price which I understood because we had a few more boxes then estimate. Although, the rep said they pack the tvs no problem but then to find out they charge for every packed TV and painting. I asked them on timetable of arrival.
I have booked a move with a guy named supposably Alex for this coming Friday we went over everything telling me that they would pick up on Friday and then 2 to 3 Days Later our stuff would be in the new location yesterday I just had an instinct to call just to verify everything because he never gave me the date of when they're supposed to bring the items to the new location cuz we have to schedule the dock at the other place so I just so happened to call and spoke to a girl named Alex at first she's telling me she…
Hello, you have written a review for the wrong business; our company has not provided you with any service. I therefore ask you to remove this review, as it damages our company's reputation; I will also be reporting this to Google.
We are in receipt of your letter dated December 14th, 2023. In this letter you are offering a settlement of $18 for the amount of the claim. This letter says we must sign and have notarized the acceptance. The Notary fees would cost more than what you are willing to pay. We totally reject the offer. The 6 items you claim had no pictures, is bogus. If you did not receive them, it is because the online system you use is seriously flawed.
