In their own words
We hired ShirBak 3 times, and they were so professional and friendly that we came to trust them. During our most recent move, my fiancée's engagement ring went missing. It was in the room before the movers were in there and gone after. We have searched the apartment floor to ceiling with a metal detector, including the trash and sink traps. Bakari, find who took the ring and return it, and I would be more than happy to give you five stars or delete this review.
We take allegations of missing property extremely seriously. We have spoken with the customer multiple times and reviewed this matter with the crew that was present. At no point did our team see, handle, pack, transport, or take possession of the ring in question.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Jakob & Bakari did an excellent job with my move. They were professional, punctual, and communicated clearly throughout. Without being asked, they wrapped my larger furniture and office chair with padding, and even brought boxes for my TV …
Jiaan, thank you for such a thoughtful review! We're glad Jakob and Bakari could make your move a smooth one. Taking the extra time to protect furniture, come prepared, and keep everything organized is something we take pride in.
These guys were amazing, we have used them twice now, super fast and thorough but also extremely gentle with load in and out as well as navigating tight squeezes without messing up walls or catching corners. Even asked me about my son’s baseball season and somehow remembered him by name after more than a year. 100% recommend
