Simple Moving

While I was able to get a crew on short notice, the service was a bit unprofessional. First off all payments are made via Zelle or Apple Pay to the owners phone. . . . Even the final payment. The crew arrived 20 minutes late. Since this service is paid by the hour, it felt like the move was being intentionally dragged out. At times they were carrying ONE Small item at a time. Also everything was professionally boxed and wrapped before they arrived.

The company did not deliver all of my boxes. Including a brand new play station 4 game. They packed and broke my Television, they broke my antique rocker and several other small items. Several of my totes were squashed and the boxes bent and damaged. When I called I have to go through a third party to file a claim. They will pay me 60 cents a pound. The play station was $300 and they will give 60 cents a pound which amounts to $3.00. I was told that's all the insurance they had and not to worry I won't need it.

Movers were great, however they were 4 hours late. Which is understandable. Things happen right? However, the communication was abysmal. I kept getting told “ I would get a call with an ETA. “ which I didn’t get. The driver finally called me 3 and a half hours later, saying “ we would be there in 35 minutes. “ I originally spoke to Greg who informed me originally they “ were running late. “ he failed to mention that it would be 4 hours late.

Unfortunately moving companies have a horrible reputation nationwide. As someone who is involved in this industry and has worked in it for over 5 years, I can tell you this company exemplifies everything that is wrong with moving companies in America. Moving companies are known to: drag out time, lack respect, not follow up on their word, and care more about their money then good business practice and let me tell you this company does all of that.

We had a terrible experience with this company!!! We hired them to do a short move just 30 minutes from one direction to the other, they ended up damaging many things in our house!!! They broke my husband's desk at work, a refrigerator, a TV vase and a digital fan!!! The owner of the company was responsible for paying for my husband's desk alone and we told him that we had to pay someone to put it back together since we had to buy it because his incompetent employees broke our things and He gave his word that he…

Hired these folks to move a 1.5 bedroom from Poinciana to Orlando and it took 4 hours. That's $650 after taxes. I was mover before and these guys are slow. Definitely not worth $150 per hour. I clearly labeled my boxes with "Fragile" or "soft top" and it was completely ignored. Finding half of the fragile boxes on their side, and the soft tops were all at the bottom (because they were unloaded first).

I had called Saturday to book them to move my mattress/box spring plus headboard and they said that they can come on Sunday in the afternoon between 1-6 pm… Sunday rolls around waiting on their call… nothing… I call them… they said that they will come around 2-3 hours (note: this was at 3 pm when I called)… waited some more… no call/ no show.. nothing… I even called 3-5 times no answer… I even left a voicemail to call me back… Very unprofessional and management is terrible.

I used this company to move my belongings and they did a good job at making sure my things remained intact. What I did not like was them taking 3hours to get to my home. The drive is only 1 hour and 20 minutes away, with traffic an additional 30minutes tops. My sister left 30-40mins before them and ran into very little traffic. I wouldn't recommend them based off that reason alone, I felt like they took advantage and overcharged me.
