In their own words
Let me first state the movers that came to my house were great on the other hand the professionalism of the management and scheduler were not. After 2 video calls not only did they not estimate right on the truck we needed, I had to get 2 uhauls on my own. They packed the truck so tight that they busted my 55 inch tv and also my kitchen table. Which per the manager wasnt a big deal. They also lost the pieces to my new desk and took on to try and fix it and now has not called me back to make this right.
I would not recommend them at all for multiple reasons. First, after a pre-move survey showing the number of flat screen TVs we had they showed up and said they didn't realize we had 2 65 inch TVs and didn't have crates. They put a few boxes together to make containers for the TVs that provided no cushion or support. They arrived with white spots around the edges of the screens when the image was darker. These TVs were 6 months old and not damaged at all prior to the move.
I needed help with unloading a 16 ft moving truck into a 2nd floor apartment in Athens, GA so I booked a crew of 2 unloaders with Crown Transfer/Simple Moving. The initial contact and booking process were smooth and efficient. However, despite confirming my appointment multiple times in advance I was notified 2 hours prior to arriving in Athens that they would be unable to provide the crew.
This company appeared to be doing a great job until it was all said and done. First, make sure that you read the contract and know that your estimate is just that. You will be charged for weight that you won't have any evidence to prove. …

I wish you had ten stars. These men moved everything out of my house in three hours. I have heavy furniture. They moved it into my new house in three hours. They took everything apart, wrapped and taped. They unwrapped, put together and put it exactly where I wanted it. I really cannot recommend them more. Just simply awesome! Oh, came in under estimate and there was zero damage to anything.
Wish there was an option to give more than 5 stars!! We worked with TJ, Chris & Johnny ...and they were beyond amazing! They were highly efficient, extremely polite and each had a great attitude. They took exceptional care of our furniture and home. Their level of service is what service should look like. They will always be our "go to" from now on!
Great experience with Crown Transfer. Very responsive, communicative and direct. Quote and pricing was extremely reasonable. …
Dear Rebecca, Wow! Thank you so much for the feedback! We appreciate your business and call us if you are in the need of moving services!
Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish! Marty was extremely fair with his pricing. Rickie, Donnie, and Tommy never stopped working. They were fast, efficient, and they treated my belongings with the utmost care. I could not be happier.
