One Star is generous! Unprofessional, incompetent.....yesterday 8 hrs...quote was several hundred dollars under...huge mistake...damaged furniture, missing parts.. main part of king bed ( brand new bed)...they denied seeing it...asked if you broke it just own up to it...so I can use the part as a template...( continued denial), missing screws for mirror and beds...Do Not Use This Company if you value your belongings! Just found the pan for my BBQ grill in the bushes!... New Fridge dented...etc..
My antique bed was damaged. My coffee grinder was broken. Antique milk-glass, sentimental, mug was broken. My CLEARLY marked box of light bulbs was only 1/2 filled, so movers tossed an 18lb Rubbermaid bin in box on top of my light bulbs. Smart!! Smashed 1 3pk & 1 4pk of compact fluorescent bulbs, 3 coloured LEDs, 3 white & 1 red outdoor flood lights, 1 40w 4" slim bulb, 1 13w compact fluorescent & my appliance bulbs. (I did not note the several boxes of "regular" bulbs).
VERY BAD PEOPLE work here!! (Not management, but staff.) I was run off the road and almost killed by this company's truck, and to make matters worse, I was "flicked-off" by all the drivers and they spit at my car and yelled erratic threats as the passed me, because I wasn't going fast enough for them on the bridge to Tampa. I was forced off the road and called their Operations Manager, who said he would handle the matter.
Two because they fit me into their schedule. I had heard this was a wonderful, careful company....not for my move. I have scratched and chipped furniture, chipped glass top, and a dented refrigerator! (they took care of the damage of the frig) Now, as I'm. organizing after my move, my heart is sickened as I see they damaged a small heirloom table; the marble of this beautiful table has a large chunk out of it! This can't be fixed nor replaced as it is extremely old.
One of the crew stole my engagement ring off my kitchen counter. I didn't discover it until the next day, but the company would not cover this loss. We also had approximately four boxes missing and we were compensated for what we could identify as having been in those boxes. There was quite a bit of damage to our furniture, as well. We fell for their marketing and reviews. Sorry we ever contacted this company.
Had them move a senior citizen to smaller place. No boxes just a bedroom set and a kitchen table basically. No more than a 8 min. Drive and a 2 hr. Job. It took 3 men!!! To do this 4 flipping hrs.!!!!???? They give you a pric e as to how much it will be and then they jack it up another $300!!! They took advantage of a senior citizen and that's NOT OK!!!!

Our move was stress free thanks to Joel and George. They arrived on time and began working immediately. They were very careful with all my furniture and loaded the truck quickly and efficiently. They were very personable while being professional. Even though we talked as they worked, they never stopped. When they unloaded at my house they placed everything exactly where we asked them to, and moved things when we weren't happy with the placement. They got the job done in the estimated time quoted.
Incredible experience with Small moving today! Thank you!!! They were excellent to deal with prior to the move with direct and transparent communication and the crew today did an exceptional job safely and efficiently moving our home without any damage. Top quality and very fair pricing. I have only great things to say about Small Moving Inc.
I can not say enough positive things about Small Moving. I found them moving another resident out of my building the same day my former movers canceled on me because of the impending hurricane. Drake was extremely helpful and accommodated my terrible schedule (had no power for a week- didn't know when it would come back on) and was so willing to reschedule to the following day, every day, hoping my building got power back (couldn't move without freight elevator).
Moving is difficult enough.....Small Moving, Inc is top notch in making that process easier! Adam, Andre and Josh showed up on time, went above and beyond to help us meet our timelines AND were courteous, friendly and professional! The crew packed and loaded our household goods onto a UHAUL that we rented to drive from FL to NY. After unloading the truck in NY and unpacking, everything was in PERFECT condition!! Not one break, crack, or damage to any of our possessions.
