In their own words
We hired Smart Move to move our stuff from Las Vegas to Lexington Kentucky. They guessed a truck size that didn't fit all of our stuff in it. They just left our belongings on the driveway by the street. There were a few items damaged and we sent in a claim as they told us verbally they would pay us for the items left. I was disappointed in that because these were items I wanted. After 8 phone calls and several emails they ghosted us. We got zero reimbursement and they've blocked us. Beware.
Don’t book this moving company. All of the prices quoted are actually doubled or tripled on the amount of workers they use. They quoted me $750 to move a two bedroom apartment on moving day. Literally waited till they got here and jacked the price up from about $200 to over $700. Then the guy started yelling at me in my house saying I never booked the appointment online when I indeed booked the appointment online. Literally a nightmare!! Stay away
We’ve no record of servicing this person this is false allegations and we will be processing with legal action we will absolutely never quote a full service move at 200$ and we are extremely disappointed that someone will go as far as making up allegations about our company when we do everything…
We had used them before and they were brilliant, fast efficient and did not ruin anything even with a difficult staircase. So paying a premium price was worth it. So when we had to move again I did not hesitate to call them and even with a higher price I still wanted to use them because they had proved that they were worth it. The 2nd time we used this company they were not efficient at all and scratched my items.

I highly recommend Smart Move for your moving needs. Gerardo came out before the move to see what we had to quote us accurately and even gave us some free packing supplies as part of a promotion. We got a reasonable quote that was within our budget and they completed the move almost right on time. A little over time, but I was expecting that. There were no hidden fees, just a flat rate for the crew, truck and all materials. They showed up right on time and immediately got to work.

They brought a lot of relief to what was a very stressful out-of-state move for me. The team they sent were all friendly, professional and went above and beyond. They arrived on time and ended up completing the job about 30 min early. Communication was great throughout the process. It started with a simple call, then texted some details and then went into the formal confirmation over email. They texted me when they were on their way and when they arrived.
Awesome job. Zeno and Alonso were amazing - handled the stairs and trailer great. Happy to help us with anything we needed including breaking down our couch. Great price. Professional, on time, and confirmed the morning of. Thank you so much for your help!
Hands down one of the best moving companies I have ever used. Ever! Very reasonable rates. The guys that came to do the work were so respectful of our house, our furniture, and helped set everything up so we can make this place a home again. They worked with me for last minute booking after my landlord placed us in a deplorable situation. I’m so grateful to everyone who assisted us. When the guys were here, they mentioned building items for us but I absolutely regret saying no.
