Smiley's Professional Moving Company

Their movers are unprofessional when answering the phone. At no time prior to the move did any of the staff inform me of the two hour minimum over the phone nor when they asked me to pay the deposit through a text message, even though the move itself took less than 30 minutes. I only learned of the 2 hr minimum when they gave me my total and after the contract had been already signed.

I feel like i've been run over by moving van. Austin the owner said he was going to turn my day around and take control and make everything happen. I no longer needrd to stress out. It was a last minute request and it was a Sunday. Another moving company had pulled a no show and Austin was reassuring and professional and I was so pleased to have him come to my aid. Everything was already loaded into the truck. All he had to do was go to the storage unit unload it and bring the truck back.

They don't deserve 1 star! I paid them 1300 dollars, for what my dog would have been better. Screws missing, I have 2 refrigerators n, handles were removed, no screws. They said tvs had to be in a box, no Tv stands. I called spoke to a lady, she wants to have an attitude. I'm the one should have an attitude $1,300.00 dollars later I can't find nothing.They took things apart, now I got to order new refrigerator handles and screws..

I just feel ripped off. I am a returning customer. I used them years ago and everything was fine to be honest I believe I had more furniture then. Last week I paid $165 an hour for 3 movers sounds great huh. But please be advised if the 3rd mover is the owner he will be outside on the phone most of the time so you are really paying for 2 movers. I had more boxes than furniture. They moved absolutely NO APPLIANCES. No refrigerator, no stove, no washer & dryer, no TV’s, no deep freezer, no grill.

I was sadly disappointed in this company bc I called and scheduled a moving date but had to cancel bc the house wasn't ready! When I asked for a refund I was told that I couldn't get it if I canceled! No I wasn't told this on the front end. The young lady did tell me that if I rescheduled for another time I can use my deposit so when I chose another day the lady said she would call me back to confirm, needless to say she didn't so after about 6 hours I called her and she said the driver told her it was to late of…

I had used this company before take in mind that why I came back but this time it was the worst now it was different guys this time the first set of worker was great they took very good care of my thing cause I pay good money for my thing cause I like a nice home but to pull my thing out of storage today that they put in there my mirror was broken on the back I have a 1400 dollar dine room set were I Have no crew to put my table back i ask the man please tape the crew to my set if u must pull it a part he promise…

Parked in the middle of the road and 2 men stood outside of the moving truck just chatting for at least 10 minutes before they decided to move their truck, when someone tried passing by on the side they stopped them and got mad at the person trying to enter the neighborhood. I then ended up driving on the same road as them and they then continued to get into the emergency lane and cut off traffic (going 70+ on a 55mph road in the large moving truck which is extremely dangerous to other drivers).

Used to be a really great and affordable company to deal with when moving. This go round was terrible. I felt like they were tryna bamboozle me with their misunderstood policy. They charge a $100 (deposit) that comes off your total, and charge $175 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. But they still charge the full amount of the move. So where does the deposit come at? Help me understand…
