Don't rent from here. They offer an insurance that you pay for and then try to lie and scam you out of it when their ill kept environment causes damages to your property. Krissy if you see this know that lawyers will be getting involved once all the documentation is found.
We take all concerns seriously. At this time, we do not have a rental account under this name or an employee by the name mentioned. You may have the wrong facility. Feel free to contact us at [phone removed].
IF YOU ONLY WANT IT FOR ONE MONTH AND GET IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A SECOND MONTH. They take advantage of college kids, I got a storage unit on the 11th of July and will be moving out of it August 8th. They’re making me pay for an entire extra month bc they don’t prorate you. I won’t even need the storage unit for an entire month, yet I’m paying over $200 total. Make it make sense this is ridiculous.
Olivia, rent is due on the 1st and we prorate the move in, it was explained when you moved in and in your lease that you signed. This is standard and not unique to us, sorry that you’re disappointed. We have many happy college kid customers.

Overall our experience with Southside Storage has been decent. There have been a few things that are off-putting as far as storage places go though, but this is from other customers, not the owners/employees themselves. Customers will block the doors to get to the interior units, just wait around for seemingly no reason at all, and just make you feel uncomfortable overall like they are watching you put your stuff away.

We have just finished the official rental of a climate controlled unit. The agent was very patient with us as we are not as technologically savvy as younger people as we went through all the steps to rent the unit. The facility seems to be clean ,which is nice, and well lighted.
