In their own words
We used this service to move my boyfriend’s apartment items to storage and a couch to my house just around the corner from the storage company. We were overcharged for boxes as many of the small size boxes (16x12x12) were packed with paper rather than being filled with actual items. A TV had a moving blanket placed to protect to backside and not the screen while many other furniture items were left bare, uncovered and put on a concrete floor in storage.

I used Square Cow for the first time last year when I was moving into my house. I know it depends on the team, but I had a very poor experience. I only needed the mirror put on a dresser and my washer and dryer setup, no other furniture set-up required, just boxes. They told me they didn’t have their tools so couldn’t do it. We went out and bought the tools needed so they could set it up, and they didn’t connect the drain on the washer or tighten the bolts on the mirror.

We hired them to load furniture into a pod. Everything went well. When we hired them to unload the furniture they damaged my new floors. The forged my signature on preexisting damage. When I spoke to the manager he said sorry if you want to appeal you have to go through the DMV. What a joke. He also said that if his guys damage something it comes directly out of their check. Buyer beware of this company.
BEWARE! Square Cow movers stole valuable family heirlooms, jewelry, and full containers of holiday ornaments. When confronted, they did not deny it — instead, they paid us $50, a clear admission of guilt. Call a friend, family member or neighbor to move your belongings before EVER considering Square Cow Movers. *check their yelp reviews* God bless.
Hello Michael, Thank you for sharing your concerns. At Square Cow Movers, we take allegations like this very seriously, as honesty and integrity are at the core of our business values.
I spoke with someone who had me fill out an online questionnaire, I did so and their online estimator calculated moving a 3 bedroom house as needing 6 movers for 12 hours at some astronomical price. Then spoke to them again and they said that wasn't reliable and they would send an estimator that would walk the house and give me a more realistic estimate. We set up a date and a few hours beforehand they texted that a mover had called in sick and they wouldn't be able to come.
Hi Joseph, I hate to see your review. We try our best to communicate honestly and transparently when things arise. We called and left a message and then followed up with a text to let you know what had happened. We had a serious injury accident and our manager had to go assist with.
DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! They stole from us! They acted so nice to us and acted professional. We trusted them. It is very disturbing when we noticed immediately after they left that things were missing. The owner did absolutely nothing to take care of his customer. Again....DO NOT USE!

Square Cow Movers is an amazing, professional and top notch moving company. Their pricing was transparent with no hidden fees. I used them to move a friend’s things from one apartment to a storage facility and then to the new apartment 3 weeks later. I called so many times with various questions and also needing to change move dates because of move-in delays. They were kind and courteous and always assured me that everything was okay and they were fine rescheduling at no extra fee.

We have used Square Cow Movers DFW twice since moving to Texas. Both times we had a pleasant, professional, and issue-free experience with them. For our most recent move in July, we had the amazing team consisting of XAVIS, SAXON, and ANTHONY. If they allow you to request certain movers, request this team of guys. They are big strong men who took care of our belongings as if they were moving their own. The team worked hard in the 100 degree heat, never once complaining or slowing down.

Square Cow did a great job. They came out and viewed what we had and gave us a reasonably priced quote. They were friendly and courteous and pleasant to work with. They called before they arrived each time. They were on time and a great value overall. We would use them again.

If you want to make your life easy and don’t want to deal with companies who will nickel and dime you for every plastic or tape used to pack your stuff, go with square movers. I call Mary Reeder at the office on Friday 20th 4 pm , she takes down notes of what I am moving, within 5 minutes I get the quote, for a 2 man crew & then she calls me and says, when do you want to move, I say yesterday, she goes, how about Monday morning 8 am, I go ok.
