Two Men and a Truck Moving

This was not a good experience. I chose Two Men and a Truck because of the online reviews and because they have an office that is only 2 miles from my home. They were 1.5-2.5 hours late. They were suppose to be here from 8 am - 9 am, but did not arrive until 10:20. They did not shrink wrap my furniture like the website or the man that gave my my quote stated. They only moved 3 items (couch, bed and tv stand) from one building to another in the same complex.

I’ve used two men for 6+ years and this past move was our longest and most expensive and with the most men. We’ve never had 3 before but with only have a week to go from our old home to new home I thought I’d book 3 and it was an awful decision. The guys were kind but way too talkative and one would have a 10 minute conversation with me or my husband and one might be working and I didn’t know where the third was. It didn’t seem like they had any urgency with helping us move fast and keep the cost down.

It’s 2 boys and a truck, not 2 men. They need to correct their company name to correctly represent them. They didn’t have tools, I had to go in my garage to try and find tools for them to use because they came unprepared. They were supposed to go straight to building to unpack my stuff but instead they went to gas station to waste time waiting for me as I had to get my WiFi. I still beat them by 15 minutes with a 30 minute stop… they must’ve found a gas station so far away..

DO NOT SIGN THEIR RELEASE UNTIL ANY/ALL OF YOUR CONCERNS HAVE BEEN 100% RESOLVED. Two men and a truck in Denton, TX damaged several pieces of my furniture with severe scrapes on finished surfaces. They even left one of my heirloom bedroom dressers upside down in the garage where I asked them to leave it. However, they left a moving blanket on it and when I uncovered the furniture, after the movers had left, I realized it was upside down with the finished top directly on the concrete floor where it had been slid…

Two men and a truck is the Worst moving company I have ever used. Their guys were super slow and not careful with our items. They sent one guy that had someone what experience and one guy that apparently was very new maybe his first day. It took them from 9 am till 430 pm to move our one bedroom apartment to another apartment, both on the first floor and 5 miles apart (they quarried us for 4 hours of work and the price pretty much doubled due to them sending inexperience help.) They lost a piece of our couch and…

They managed to bang every single wall and door that was in their path, our brand new house had pieces of drywall on the floor and handprints, scuff marks, all kinds of things by the time they were done. They seem to care more about getting done on time than doing a careful job. The next day someone followed up and they sent out a vendor the next day and he fixed all their mistakes which took several hours.

I used Two Men and a Truck based on the recommendations of friends and family. Just last year, my cousin paid $300 to move a fully furnished two bedroom apartment just last year. I ended up paying just shy of $900 to move from my parents' home to a one bedroom apartment.(No dining furniture or couch) With the exception of a dresser on the second floor, everything was boxed up and staged in one room for pick up. The movers talked and joked among themselves and moved at a leisurely pace.

They moved furniture from my home to my daughter's home. They took longer than what was quoted. They worked at a slow pace. They scratched the floor and then lied about it. We had pictures to prove differently. Ryan Massey -Operations Manager sent a person out to repair the wood floor. The repair person said the scratches were deep and across the grain of the wood and would be difficult to repair. The repairman put forth best effort but couldn't fix the floor. Ryan Massey said that was the best they could do.
