We hired STAR movers for packing services and moving. They sent a representative beforehand to look at our place and make a more accurate quote. They recommended a 2-day job for a 2.5 room townhouse, with the first day for packing and the second day for moving. On Day 1, the team arrived an hour late and unprepared. They did not have boxes despite those being included in the quote. Apparently, they were not told that this was a pack and move job. Once they started, they made very slow progress.
I paid for 3 movers and only 2 of them were moving my stuff the other one stayed in the truck most of the time and he was the one in charge of the other guys. I only had 9 items to be moved from an apartment to a house and 1 of the 2 guys who moved my stuff was tired before they even finished loading the truck. They ended up dropping my marble dining table breaking one of the corners of the table, I spoke over the phone to the owner and he said he would get back to me to fix the problem it's been over a month and…

I used Star movers for a recent in town move. They carefully wrapped all my furniture and the move went smoothly although it took several hours longer than estimated. Once i started unpacking, i noticed several items missing. Now i cant get anyone on the phone despite repeated calls, messages and emails. I really want my items back and I can’t even get someone to help me.

Horrible service movers arrive late and take their time to charge more. Break appliances and not inform nor replace. Also horrifically be disrespected degraded and insulted by the head mover for not doing his job. I would NEVER USE NOR REFER THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE

This company had a high rating so I tried my hand. I was originally quoted around six hundred dollars and it was supposed to be a 2 to 3 hour move. I was elated at the price so I booked. There were two movers. The movers took literally six hours just to get my things to my new home. It was one storage. I had a couch , two beds, a dressee, washer and dryer and some boxes. It took these dudes 6 hours JUST TO GET THE THINGS TO MY HOUSE. I was promised a two bed set up and washer dryer and hookup.
Hey “Keyz”, I can’t search your move because your Local Guide (Keyz) name doesn’t match any client we’ve recently moved. However, I would mention that most of our recent moves coming from storage are NOT prestaged and load ready.
The moving process was great, however almost one year later I have no clue what the status of my stores items is… I’ve been told multiple times the business is closing and that they’ve arranged for my items to be shipped to a location of my choosing, just for no one to show up at the agreed upon location at the agreed upon time with zero explanation. I’ve sent emails, responded to texts, etc. with no resolution.
We recently chose to go with STAR Movers due to it being Military owned. We felt they could really meet our needs best as we are a Military family. Unfortunately they seriously misjudged the amount of household goods we needed relocated …
