Disrespectful & Unprofessional! This was a cross-country, storage to storage space move: From one 10 x 15 space to another 10 x 15 space. Relatively simple. I made a 2-day road trip to the pickup sight. Initial contact by this carrier was blunt and dictatorial. Carrier told me their schedule with no wiggle room. I altered my reservations accordingly. They lied; see below. 1. More than 12 hours late for stated pickup.
Quoted $3,000 and signed quote accordingly with their Marketing guy Mark. Movers came on a Monday and loaded all of our belongings and then at paper signing they let us know it would be an additional $1,800 because the quote was miscalculated, though I went room to room in detail on the phone with Mark for the aforementioned quote and it went absolutely down hill from there. We contacted the owner Alex to dispute the almost $2,000 additional fees. He was argumentative, rude and very hard to work with.
This moving will steal you BLIND, literally! You will be uncharged every way possible. My suggestion would be to rent the moving pods, do you own packing and lock your container (s) and keep your key. This is serious when this mover has no respect you anything you may value. My military uniform was taken, designer boots, coins, jewelry, not was off limits! A reputable established company may cost more, some items simply aren’t replaceable.
This is the WORST moving company! Do NOT use them!! They are very unprofessional. One of the movers slammed our gun safe into our brand new door frame and damaged it pretty bad. They also broke a large cabinet. The claim service was terrible. They basically just wanted you to go away. We persisted and when it was all said and done, they offered us $82 in damage credit. CRAZY! I wouldn't refer this company to my worst enemy!
Rogue moving company. Damaged $5,000 worth of our furniture. Cancelled move after loading 80% of our stuff because we refused to agree to the new random price they decided to charge us. Google keeps hiding my review. This company has been reported to the Attorney General in North Carolina and is now facing a lawsuit from us. Beware. Fake reviews. Fake company. Owner uses fake name. His real name is Yair Knafo, he goes by Alex.

Please avoid for your own sake. Having moved 14 times 3 this was the worst!! They leave a mess in their wake while loading, will rush you to sign the paperwork, overcharge the square footage of the "truck capacity", forget items, break …
Horrible Company !!!!! Don't use!!!!! They damaged multiple items and a door frame. We went through the claims process and the settlement was insulting at best.

Our team just finished packing up our home. I’m not usually one to jump to do a review this experience has gone better than expected. They took such good care of our things - everything wrapped and protected for its next leg of the trip! Team was friendly, helpful and hard working. We won’t be taking delivery for a couple of weeks but I’ll be sure to come back and let you know how the delivery goes,
Alex and his crews came on time and started working right away once I showed them what's going. They also wrapped several items in blankets to make sure it doesn't get damaged. His crews worked really fast and handled with care. If you need someone who gets it done, call Star USA Moving company. 100% recommend!
