I would not recommend doing business here. When I first met with them the week prior, they were friendly and seemed professional, but that completely changed when it came time to finalize everything. I called on Thursday to confirm for Saturday and was told the price and $20 admin fee would be honored. They also promised a $1 deposit for the first month, but that turned out to be a lie. Initially, they quoted me $138, but when I arrived they said it was $145.

Let me begin by stating, the manager is an absolutely wonderful person. I found her to be kind and professional at all times. So my comments regarding the facility itself is separate of her. The facility: I wish I could place a "0". The pictures posted on their website does not reflect the real current condition of their storage units. I placed some items there for a year. When I returned, I found many of my things in ruin because of water damage from the rain.
I was very unhappy with the service & space provided. I rented this space with a $1 for the 1st month special & was told that I MUST pay for the 2nd month by the agent & manager when I arrived. That is not the agreement I had when I signed up online. I am shocked that the Storage Etc., Carson agents would claim that I must pay for a 2nd month. My agreement was only to pay $1 for the 1st month as advertised, plus the additional $20 admin fee.

Very poor support. Someone misspelled their email at signup, now they will not stop emailing me. There response was, “sorry but we have to keep an email on file.” If they are that dumb when it comes to simple email, who knows how incompetent they might be with storage.

Please be wary of this place if renting a storage unit. Its built on what used to be a landfill and the ground is always shifting. They should really provide a disclaimer to customers before renting out units. I constantly had to call …
