Strong College Students Moving of Tampa

Customer service before the move was great. Tristan gave me an estimate before the move that included a deposit. He never explained that my deposit was a travel fee and I would be charged more than what was quoted. When I spoke with the moving crew about what they were charging I was told I could call the office on Monday but Tristan was only going to go by what they moving guy was telling me. I thought that was very unprofessional. I called and left several messages but Tristan never called me back.

BROKE MY 60 INCH AND WONT PAY FOR IT....I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. 1. They were late to arrive. 2. Didnt have the proper paperwork for me to fill out. 3. Only one of the movers was actually "strong" enough to move stuff, so I had to assist in many of the heavy items. 4. Took them 2 hours over the quoted time frame due to moving skills. 5. FINALLY!!! They broke my 60 inch tv...and have horrible claim process. Read below.

NO SHOW AND WOULD NOT ANSWER OR RETURN CALLS (deposit paid and scheduled for 7/31/16)!!! So what is the worst thing a moving company can do than break your stuff, it's to no-show when you schedule them and pay them $150 deposit to be there on the last day of your lease (at least broken items are covered by insurance). These jokers gladly took my money and scheduled the date but could not manage to arrive on the day I booked them for (or call me back once!).

This is the most horrible moving company I have ever dealt with. I called every day for almost 2 weeks and never got a reply. I left several messages and I still have not received a call back. I had to call Groupon and get a refund and pay for another company to move my husband and I. I would not recommend this company for anything. I even called their corp office in Tampa, and they said all the locations are all separately owned and there was nothing they could do to help me.

I hired a team of 3 to move 2 storage units at the end of April. They arrived during the time frame that was given to me. Initially over the phone I was told given the unit sizes and driving, it would take no more than 4 hours. As soon as they started, the lead mover was incredibly rude to the two other guys there. He ended up dropping and breaking a potted artificial tree and then left to go talk on the phone and organize the truck as things were moved. This wasn't the only personal call he took while on the job.

Unfortunately my wife and I had a terrible experience with SCS of Tampa. We moved from St Pete on 2/15/2018 to Bradenton FL. My wife literally went through every item in our house with a Customer Service rep weeks before the move. We had dotted all the i's and crossed the t's. We were in good shape - 3 man crew ordered and was quoted the max amount of time it would take was 4 hours. First, I was extremely disappointed by how far off the quote was.

I made the mistake of purchasing a Groupon from this company. When I was ready to schedule a move-in date, I called the Orlando office for over a week and left several messages. Finally, a guy answered the phone and pretended to be an “automated message” stating that the offices were no longer in service and that they were not taking any more appointments. It was obvious that an actual person was speaking and not a machine. I was trying to speak, but he then proceeded to hang up on me.

I loved the movers, and the service was ok... a couple of our desks had desk and scratches and my mirrors wood base was broken however that was never mentioned when we were asked to sign paperwork DURING THE MOVE, in where we couldnt' exactly say for 100% that our furniture was in perfect condition so of course we cant go back and say the paperwork is incorrect . (how coveniant for them).
