Sundance Self Storage

I chose Sundance Self Storage because the facility initially appeared clean and straightforward, but my experience raised concerns about transparency and customer service. During the lease signing, the paperwork was reviewed page by page, yet no one clearly disclosed that an additional $18/month protection plan would automatically be added unless I provided my own insurance. I immediately explained that I already had homeowners insurance covering stored property.

VACATED IN LESS THAN A YEAR DUE TO RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! RENTER BEWARE THAT RATES INCREASED AFTER EIGHT MONTHS, ALL WHILE THE OFFICE STAFF CAN’T BE BOTHERED TO PERFORM THEIR BASIC JOB DUTIES! In response to the business reply: I didn’t ask for a generalized response. Cathy was returning a call from the day prior, and I was asking her specifically about my unit and my specific bill.

I was a customer from July 2021/22 to 05/25. I promise you, they call you, and when you return the call you have to go through these long, long prompts and they do not answer. They don’t usually listen to voicemail. When I first signed the lease you sign on the computer screen. When I tried to sign it wouldn’t do anything cause I was sweaty but the girl there was like “it’s probably because of the color.” I knew she was talking about my skin. I needed the storage, so I brushed it off.

This facility was great, people who work there are GREAT, but in the 2 1/2 years we have been there our rent has went from 115 to 252 a month, and the units have not gotten any bigger. On top of the price going up, we rent a climit control unit and this summer has been a joke, the owners will not turn the ac past 84 degrees, even though it's 100 some degrees outside. When we open our unit door the heat hits us in the face, it's really ridiculous.

3/24/2025:this place is so SCREWED UP! The main doors have not worked for over a month now and then they park their stupid truck so you can’t park by the other door that works!! BETWEEN THEIR PRICES , LOUSY CS, NOT ALLOWING HOLIDAY ACCESS AND NOW THIS!! GO ELSEWHERE! BEWARE!! If they lower the rates your rates will not go down!! We are paying over $100 mth more for a storage unit because we rented before the lower rates! They won’t even give you ANY CREDIT AT ALL!!

Horrible customer service! My credit card was set to automatic payments, and now I'm getting bombarded with texts saying I owe money? GOOD LUCK getting anyone to answer a phone e over there! I've been calling for the past week multiple times daily, and NOBODY will pick up the office phone. I will be moving out. Rates have increased to the point that every storage place in Buckeye is cheaper, and actually have employees that answer the phones when needed.

The workers are amazing but their corporate is engaging in shady and sketch business practices like basically forcing their customers to get their overpriced insurance and changing prices for the storage unit no less then 2 times a year. Don't put anything in storage here it's simply not worth it.

Raise rates every other month never notify customers of it can never contact a live person Closed on major Holidays thats time people need to get into there units new Storage down the street Britelock has way better rates but its online only
