Disappointed with our experience with Sunset Movers LLC. Our move on Sunday, July 12th was quoted at $1,200 for 4 hours, but ended up taking 8 hours and costing $1,800, a 50% increase with no explanation given beforehand. Part of the delay was due to equipment: they arrived with a trailer rather than the larger truck we expected, which didn’t have enough capacity for our belongings and required extra trips.

These guys suck. Where to begin even. They broke my stuff, threw stuff, took 11 hours and didn’t even finish 2b 2b home 1 car garage. That had a car in it mind you. So not too much in there. The “manager” said he was going to pay me for broken item, and never did. Then he called again asked for Cash App and said he would still didn’t. They were offered water, food and popsicles made a HUGE MESS, and left my vacant house at 60 degrees!! They threw my kids stuff In a garbage pile.
This customer was completely nasty house trashed . wasn't there to conduct her move. There was trash . It was a mess! Then on top of that she tried to hook up with one of my workers saying they should get a hotel. Then she talked about her sex toys to my workers And she's a married woman??
Had the worst experience! We hired movers to make our move easy instead it turned into something extremely stressful. First things first They were 2 1/2 hours late. I had scheduled them to be here at 8 AM. They didn’t get here till 1030 completely throwing our move off track, Only one of the movers seemed to be helpful the other one not so much he was grabbing one item at a time taking excessive breaks he was also extremely rude!!
Feel like we paid way more than should've been paid. The work we asked for did not get done and they just started taking things without seeing what all we were taking. They told us they would remove and replace tvs and mounts and they did not and they went and did another job in the middle of bringing our items to our new home. $1,100 for a job half assed. Very upset and will not be using again.

We are sry that you feel you had a bad experience. We did communicate that we had a truck that broke down and we would be late. We even asked to reschedule and you said no please still come. You paid for two guy for $270 and got three which we normally charge $390 for that.

Got a table on Facebook marketplace that was WAY too heavy for myself and two other guys to move ourselves- I happened to pull off the freeway behind them and called the number on the trailer- by the next morning we had it down two flights of stairs and set up at the new house without a scratch! They made 500lbs of granite look like ikea furniture the way they coordinated the move, and were all super nice through the whole thing.

These guys were fantastic. I reached out on Facebook Marketplace and they responded immediately, were flexible, and even handled the move the same day. They showed up on time, were professional, careful with my furniture, and very fair with pricing. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.
