In their own words
Movers did a good job - light damage to walls and furniture but that's to be expected by any mover. During the initial quote, I told them the house was a 2.5 story home with 3 bedrooms. Was quoted for 3 guys and was told to expect 4-6 hours for the the entire move. Only 2 guys showed up the day of the move and their van wasn't big enough to do the move in 1 load.
These movers are NOT insured. Be really careful when booking them. I am out $3,700 because of their mistakes. Also read the reviews below you will see others who had damaged televisions and furniture without being refunded for damages. The lady who answers the phone is so rude and doesn’t care. It’s so stressful when your belongings are broken and you have a moving company that doesn’t take responsibility for their mistakes! Horrible business.
We are now out $3700! We hired superior movers to move us approx 40km on January 6/7th of 2025. The movers themselves were polite and worked efficiently to move us over two loads and two days. Unfortunately our 75 inch tv was damaged during the move. We were told that a claim would be submitted and that someone would be contacting us regarding the outcome. We gave Michelle all the information.
Cancelled on twice and then when they showed up they knocked on the door and didn't call (elderly person didn't hear the knock as there apartment was upstairs) when the elder called to say are u coming (30 min later as they were waiting patiently) they were rude on the phone and said you snooze you loose. Left an elderly person without help after cancelling twice. If I could give no stars I would... TWO BIG THUMBS DOWN!

Michelle didn't come good on her quote of one hr for me and when I asked to speak to the person in charge I wasn't referred. No one ever called me back. I'll never use them again. And there will be an again!
Hi Terri, I tried calling you twice last week from a private number and no answer. We have a 2 hour minimum and we do our best to send estimates, at the end of the day things happen and moves take longer than estimated. Michelle told me about the issues you had and it seems you miss understood.

We appreciated the that the team communicated ahead of time and arrived when the agreed to. Loading our truck was quite quick. Unfortunately a lot of the wooden furniture was packed very hodgepodge and after 1600 KM suffered considerable damage. I told them I had plenty of blankets but the seemingly forgot to use the better ones. Anyway I would recommend you have some in the truck monitoring how they pack things in.

They arrived on time, worked quickly, and were friendly throughout the entire process. From start to finish, everything was smooth and well-organized. Pleasant and professional from the booking through to the very last box! We were given a very reasonable quote to move our 4bdrm home. The movers were clearly experienced as they were fast and efficient while being very respectful with our possessions. We would rebook/refer Superior Movers in a heartbeat.
