Syracuse Moving Company

We were moved by this company in March. One of the guys dropped out tv down the stairs and shattered it then left without saying he cracked it. We understand things happen with moving and we weren’t upset but expected some sort of partial compensation for it. We have called/email the office multiple time about the situation it is now July and they have been nothing but rude and dismissive.

I moved last week. Working with Dana was fantastic, and the expectations upfront were that they wanted me to wear a mask as the movers were in my apartment, and that they'd be fully masked the whole time. When the movers showed up, they explained that they'd wear a mask on the walkthrough, but refused to wear it while working. When mentioning that the company said they'd be masked, and that I, myself am in a high-risk group for COVID, their response was "we don't work with masks".

Showed up 30 minutes late and without any tools to disconnect and move our washer and dryer. I picked this place because when I called they specifically said they could disconnect them for us. They left for 20 minutes to get tools and came back with the wrong ones. 2 hours later and nothing was moved and the bolt was stripped on the dryer connector. Needless to say we went with someone else.

John and John were friendly and helpful, they were able to load and unload a small apartment in a little under 4 hours. After unloading they approached me about a broken TV stand (Cost me $18 + time/effort to replace). They failed to mention that they broke the baseboard of my wardrobe and left a half-dollar sized dent in the corner of one wall of my new (rented) unit. Movers were professional otherwise, but overall I feel slightly scammed at the price.

Terrible customer service. Spoke with two separate individuals for a corporate move. Provided all required information and followed up on multiple occasions. I never received a call or email back with an estimate. Thankfully, there are plenty of other fantastic companies that actual want business in the area. I will know who NOT to call for my personal move.

Absolutely disastrous. The people who actually move your stuff are very friendly, but their manager very unprofessional. He left us stranded with no furniture. My kids had to sleep on the floor. Refused to come back the next day to finish what he was supposed to finish on day one. Rude. Broke my desk, damaged my house paint. Refused to cooperate. Stay away.

This is what happened. I filled the form to get an estimate, no response for a week. Then I called for a quote, we were talking, I have a new bed and and bed frame still in their boxes. The employee on the phone asked me if I want them to assemble my bed frame, when I said no, the employee hanged up on me.

TERRIBLE UNDEPENDABLE MOVERS. Not dependable at all. Canceled my moving appointment the day before even though I put a deposit down over 10 days ago. A business you can’t depend on or put your trust is in is a terrible business!
