BEWARE!! - T&J contracted to deliver a refrigerator for us. They picked it up, disappeared for 2+ hours, and then dropped off the unit completely smashed and could care less. They blocked our numbers and refuse to take our calls to discuss what happened, completely ghosted. They are uninsured, unprofessional, and from the sounds of other reviews, will do the same thing to anyone! Crooks!
We’re sorry to hear about that. Sounds like you have the wrong company. We only work with residential moves. We don’t contract between businesses. We are a household moving company. There are multiple T&J companies.
I was first given a price of $1100.00. I fully informed the owner Taion that I had a lot of stuff. I asked him to come and look at my place so he could see what I had but he refused and said he understood. I said price it as if it was 3. Bedroom then. He still said $1100.00. Then I told him the next time I called him that it would probably be two days needed one to pack the other to move he said it would only cost $125.00 more. Ok no problem.
I found T&J on Thumbtack, which I used in Illinois to find small local companies to support. I texted to set up the date, which originally was set for 3/22 at 3pm for a shorter time at a discounted rate (my 1 bedroom 1 bathroom has never taken more than 3 hours to move, including the time there was a 3 floor stair walk up). I hadn’t heard anything so I reached out the day before to confirm the time, and was told I was on the schedule for 10am. That was fine, granted I had some rushed packing to do.
Worst moving experience I have ever had. They agreed to the move and then tried to move my time to the end of the day with a text the night before. I was moving my 79 year old mother into a retirement home and she was supposed to be there by 3 pm. The night before I reluctantly agreed to a start time no later than noon, which he promised via text. The day of the move came and I got text messages every few hours that they were delayed by their first move. This is why I had asked to be the first move!
Very unprofessional. Will mishandle and damage your belongings and become unresponsive to any concerns or complaints. Just use another moving company if you want a worry free moving experience.

I needed a VERY last minute pick up and delivery for the SAME DAY and they absolutely delivered. Very kind, sweet, understanding, pricing was more than reasonable and negotiable . Great communication, very professional, and very quick and careful! I highly recommend… I must mention again, same day delivery no matter the time! Simply AMAZING. For sure my go to from here on out! T & J Moving is very prompt, courteous and a good value for my moving needs. Tae called me about weather concerns as it was supposed to storm; he also let me know that they were running a little late and showed up when he said he would. I would hire them again.

ABSOLUTELY LIFE SAVERS!!! 1000% YES I RECOMMEND! 3 weeks prior we arranged to have movers help us move, we confirmed twice, once during the deposit and the next week. We kept calling the week of, day before then that morning and we were now blocked and went straight to voicemail! We were moving across the state and now screwed because we would be arriving to Sarasota in 45 months. Left us FREAKING OUT, we called T&J bc we were Googling local companies and Taylor rushed right over and saved the day!!!!
Tay was awesome. We called him between Helene and Milton to move our furniture to storage unit. Being 1200 miles away we put our trust in him to take care of everything for us…and that is exactly what he did. His crew wrapped all of our furniture with TLC and transported it before Milton hit landfall. When it time to put our condo back together we called him again. Our furniture was delivered and unwrapped and put back into place. Tay is very respectful and polite.
