Careless disrespect, indifference and oversight. Sanders Moving Company was negligent in all aspects of our move. * The price was above the average per pound. * The packing was not as advertised per their website. It was carelessly executed as many items arrived damaged. * We were charged for boxes and packing materials that were never used. * Customer service for reporting negligence was very unsatisfactory, spoke with the owner who was disrespectful and non compliant.

Do not use under any circumstances, stole my kitchen knives and other kitchen utensils and then denied my insurance claim

Sadly, I called over a month ago and spoke at length with someone who did not work in the office but was a person who was paid to answer the phone. She was nice enough, and transferred me to someone in the office who was also nice enough. That person told me a consultant / mover would call me back in a couple days and even gave me their number so I'd know it was them when they called. Unfortunately no one ever called back.

I am so very disappointed with the move I experienced today. I have made many major moves in my adulthood, including cross country from California, and have to say this was the least satisfactory. Mike Sanders did not orchestrate all the moving pieces properly. No wardrobes we’re delivered for the clothing. Large boxes were not delivered to protect some large oil paintings as promised, which I ultimately moved myself. A TV box was not provided as promised, so it was moved unprotected.

I will not use Ted R Sanders again. The movers were using profanity, hitting our furniture and on the verge of a fist fight in a public parking lot while loading. I had to scream several times to get their attention. One of the men walked off the job after 45 minutes. I was so upset, angry, embarrassed and little scared I asked them to only finish loading the furniture and take it to the new location. They were previously quoted to pack up the kitchen items as well. It took a total of two hours.

This is our second move with Ted R Sanders and it was awful. We used this company again because our 1st move in Aug 2015 was great. I really wish we had gone with another, any other, company. We were quoted by Bill Becker $1980.00 for a one way move = 4 movers, 2 vans, at 9 hours. When our purchase contract fell through, we had to have a our stuff put in storage, so we contact Bill Becker and asked what size storage units we should rent. He advised 2 10X20 units, which we rented.

This was our first experience with a moving company and with a cross-country move. Allied and Ted R. Sanders Moving had some of the higher reviews of the big companies, and things seemed to go well at first. The move-out appeared to go smoothly, and communication was good while holding my items in storage and finding my new home. Immediately after move-in, though, we saw the full extent of our mistake. A majority of the furniture arrived damaged.

I do not recommend Ted R Moving. When we moved from Tennessee to Florida, we purchased damage insurance, but no point in it. Several things were damaged, including family heirlooms. Anything damaged, was assessed by them and determined to have been already damaged, despite not having evidence. We should have sued, but just another headache. 2 years later and I notice our $4k sofa is uneven. Upon inspection, they lost 5 foot pegs of a sectional sofa, middle section. They just installed it without them.

I give Ted Sanders Moving and Warehouse 5 stars. I had an excellent move from Nashville to Culpeper, VA. Mike the packer did a careful job and was friendly and helpful. Robert the driver was professional and efficient (as well as friendly and helpful) - the crews he hired both in Nashville and in Culpeper were knowledgeable and conscientious. Everyone was on time and met every deadline they set themselves. Mike Sanders and Danielle were available to answer any questions and always promptly responded.

Excellent service from start to finish! Great communication, answered all questions throughout the process. Mike was fabulous as the estimator showed up on time and assisted with any questions I or my parents had. On time for load and unload. Took great care in unloading ( thank you Rusty, Tina and Juan) as well as loading. Highly recommend them and would use them again for a move. Great price as well! I’d rate them more than 5 stars but 5 is as high as the ranking goes!

We had an incredible experience with Allied Van Lines for our out-of-state move. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, organized, and stress-free. A huge shoutout to Mike, who was the only moving company representative who actually came to our home to do an in-person walkthrough of everything we needed moved. That alone set Allied apart. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable about the moving process and shared so many helpful tips and tricks that made us feel confident and prepared.

I cannot express my gratitude for the incredible job done by Ted R. Sanders. They were professional and courteous from start to finish. Bill Becker came to my house to look over my home and give me a price quote. He was informative, helpful, gave me good packing advice and answered all my questions. Danielle Weaver, the moving coordinator was also top notch. Every time I called with questions she was friendly and always helpful. And I called her many times.
