I used Moving Gurus back in August 2023 to move a 4-bedroom house into a storage unit 40 miles away. I'm giving Moving Gurus at least 2 stars because of a few positive things: pricing was reasonable, they were on time and efficient, the gentlemen who helped me move were very nice, and they helped pack some last-minute boxes of kitchen glassware/dishes carefully (as far as I could tell at the time).
Hello, we much appreciate the feedback. I'm sorry for this negative experience and we are always working hard to improve. We fixed that truck's gate very soon after this move last year.
We hired these movers when we moved from a 1st floor to a 3rd floor, they came in and got started really quickly. They moved everything quickly and it took less than 4 hours. Now my issue is yes we did have a lot of stuff (family of 7) and a lot of the boxes were heavy but towards the end they didn’t want to take the boxes that were still left and said “we won’t have room after we put your big furniture in” from my view they still had room, but we told them to leave it because they were having a discussion outside…
Thank you for your honest criticism, we are very sorry you had a poor experience with our company. This is not the way we want to leave our customers feeling after a move. We will take this information and use it for the betterment of our business and future customers.
If I could give this company a zero, I would. They are unprofessional and do not take instructions. Who’s running this company? They came to do a simple task of moving furniture out of a room and re pack. Instead, they went into a washroom area where they were told specifically NOT to enter and walked over and destroyed my freshly painted floors that cost $1600. They quickly packed up and ran from the job. They declined the job but did not say why.
Text them on 8/20/24 and left them a phone message on 9/3/24 . You can at least call or text back your customer . I would not recommend these people do to the fact that they dont respond and that's not a way of doing business. I hired someone else.

A friend recommended this company for a local move. They were very responsive, pleasant and flexible about changing plans. They helped us move with a moderate amount of furniture. They were careful and still fast. Mac was great, with a kind attitude and eager to please. Another team helped us empty a pod a week later and put together the furniture that arrived. They were professional and efficient. My husband felt the price was a fair price on both occasions.

I got recommended these guys by the amazing people at POM Storage. When I contacted them to plan my move Kyle went above and beyond to make sure we had the tools and man power needed to get us moved quickly and efficiently. On the day of the move Chris, Will, Dylan, Jeff, Jeremiah, and Mykell were there on time and ready to go. They treated all of our belongings like it was their own.
From start to finish the Moving Gurus team was great to have help us through our packing, loading and unloading. We had a seamless experience, were told exactly what to expect, and the crew showed up professionally, worked efficiently, and were all around nice guys. Pete, Daniel, Mack and one other guy (sorry! I can't recall the name right now) were awesome. Our move out worked out really well.

We hired them to move our pre packed household belongings from the Prime Storage facility on Wade Hampton Blvd to our new house in northern edge of Taylors. Their price was fair; they provided good communication, packed all items properly (secured and blanketed for protection in the truck while in transit), and were very flexible (all items did not fit in one truck trip as I had expected so they had to do a last minute second run back and worth to the storage unit which they did without complain).
