Worst experience I've ever had moving. Was told they would be there between 8-10, didn't show up until 230. All my stuff didn't fit so they left it behind, and I had to rent another truck, spending another 200 dollars to get the rest of my belongings. Said they would refund me 100 dollars, and didn't, still got charged for what I was quoted. Couldn't get my couch up the stairs, so after they put a hole in my wall, they left my couch outside in front of the door.
As Ceo of the company I take pride of my guys doing there job your move was a 1 bedroom. I’ f have more than quoted were subjective to do job was quote to bring truck . Now coming to help to get item I called no response your cellar was going to voice mail I try my best to help but have to do…
The reviews looked great, so I called and scheduled "professional" movers. On the day of the move two men showed up in a U haul rental truck. - 1st red flag. They had very little equipment and only a few pads to wrap and protect my belongings. They used Saran Wrap on the pieces that they did not have blankets for which did absolutely nothing to protect my wooden furniture from dents and scratches.
After a family member of mine moved to a new house, I started to help him unpack and we found out the box with the laptop and about 2k worth of electronics was missing. Horrible to put your trust in a company and have your valuables stolen from you.
Very unprofessional from the time they arrive 20 minutes late use of profanity around my children smoking a lot around my home making eyes at my wife no respect for anything I wouldn’t recommend true life movers to my worst enemy good day sir
We did not have a good experience. As soon as they arrived and were assessing what would be loaded, they started rattling off a list of things we would need. We spent over $200 at H. Depot for packing tape, bubble wrap, boxes and ratchet straps. We have moved well over 15 times and have never had a company expect us to provide all of these items. They did not pack the truck to the the top so we wound up not having enough space in the 26' truck. We have packed twice as much into a truck in the past.
Hey Tammy, thank you for your feedback for clarity this Move was booked for (Labor Only ) service which means the customer is responsible for their own supplies. If this was booked under a labor service where the company bring supplies then you will never have to go to Home Depot to get these items…
UPDATE: NOT a fake review as the owner pointer out, included payment incase they need prove. Original post: They helped us move but had no care in the world withe items moved or the house Didn't even mention the damages on the picture. I tipped the movers and they pretended everything was fine. I would not recommend them.
Professionally would’ve been better to give someone a call about this matter no one cannot know what’s going on. If a phone call was not made. We could’ve took care of it in a professional matter. That’s important business call the matter we fix it.
They wanted 850 for a job that was barely 400. Also, was a no show because I had to call them again to "confirm the appointment". Went with Two Men and a Truck instead.
Thank you!
This did not go as planned. Some of my stuff did not get moved, and they did little to protect my belongings from damage.
What satisfied customers point to

It took three months to get settled since my parents moved from Tampa to Knoxville but I HAVE to write about Mike and his team! I found him under "veteran-owned business" and he truly is a patriot that continues to serve others! We had a limited time and budget and I was out of state and unable to help them move. If I had a slightly larger budget I would've paid Mike and his team to do everything! My mom had a TON of items crammed into her one-bedroom apartment and was worried she wouldn't be able to take it all.
Hi Connie, Wow—thank you so much for such a thoughtful and generous review! We're truly honored that you chose True Life Movers to assist with your parents' move, especially from a distance and under such unique circumstances.
5 stars are not nearly enough to rate Mike and his team!! Total professionals, showed up on time and were extremely careful with my belongings. All the guys were fun, courteous and hard working. There was zero screwing around. I have hired a lot of movers in the last 5 years and True Life Movers is hands down the best moving company I have ever used. Very fair pricing and Mike is a Tetris Master in loading a truck and getting everything to fit.
Wow, Janet — thank you so much for the incredible review! We're truly honored by your kind words and thrilled to hear that Mike and the team delivered such a positive experience. We take pride in being professional, efficient, and treating every move with care (and yes, Mike definitely takes his…
I have used True Life Movers twice in the span of 4 months- one in state and one out of state. They are truly an awesome group. Mike Little, the owner, is extremely professional and kept in contact with me throughout the months leading up to the out-of-state move. He made me very comfortable that the move would go smoothly. We were in contact throughout the two-day trip when moving out of state and I was very thankful for that communication.
I recently had the pleasure of hiring a veteran-owned moving company for my recent relocation, and I can't commend them enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and stress-free. The team arrived promptly at the scheduled time, ready to tackle the job with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Their professionalism was evident as they handled my belongings with care and respect.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review, Gage! We truly appreciate your kind words and your support for our veteran-owned business. It means a lot to hear that our team made your move smooth, organized, and stress-free.
