If I could give a negative star it is well deserved. Called to get price range for moving piano, guy on phone was rude and if I didnt understand and asked what he meant, he repeated the same word only louder. Interupted me wouldnt slow …

We would never speak to our customers this way. Sometimes when customers call to get price quotes it's possible to get one company confused with another. We hope to have an opportunity to prove this to you. Jill we apologize for any confusion. Thank you

I was gifted a piano. I was reluctant to write this review because I didn't actually pay for him to move the piano, the estate of my late friend did. But the man who never did introduce himself was incredibly disturbing to work with. It was supposed to go into a small extra bedroom as I live in a small bungalow, but he refused to do that due the fact that his dolly wouldn't fit. He did not want to lift it and carry it a few feet.

D.D. is the neighbor to my customer. The customer who hired me to move her piano and then later tuned her piano was satisfied. We kindly ask you to remove this review. Thank you

Tuna, piano tuning can only tune with a mechanical box, he’s not capable of doing anything else, I had him tune my piano and he told me he couldn’t because there was issues with it, if you want your piano tuned and someone that knows what they’re doing contact the piano man, you can find him by googling piano man, he fixed my piano and tuned it for very little more than tuna charge me, and could not tune it!

I tune by ear when the piano is closer to pitch. I use "Sandersons Accu-tuner" when the piano is a half step down because of string stretching. This is standard practice in the industry and is approve by the PTG "Piano Technician Guild"

What satisfied customers point to

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

Andy from Tuna Piano Service is fantastic! He quickly diagnosed the issue with the sticky key and took the time to explain everything in detail. His knowledge and passion for pianos really show, and he was incredibly kind and personable throughout the process. Fair pricing and excellent service—highly recommend!

We bought a used Yamaha piano from Andrew several years ago and have had him tune it regularly. He is on time, easy to schedule, and does great work. The piano sounds amazing (especially when he plays his amazing improv on it to test it out when finished - my favorite part!). We look forward to his tuning every time.

Andrew did a great job. Very friendly and professional. He did a thorough job of tuning my 20plus year old piano. He explained everything well. Zero complaints.

Thank you Somer for your support. I love your piano, it plays so wonderful and it really sounds great as well and Chris and I had a great conversation about sound science and the gift of music. It was a great pleasure working for you.

Andrew moved my piano from my parent's house in Kansas City, MO in 2021. This was a seamless process and he navigated the whole process with grace and dignity with my elderly parents. Since then, Andrew has tuned the Sohmer piano twice. This piano, that my parents bought in the late 60s, that myself and my siblings all played extensively in the 70s and 80s has quite a history and Andrew knows the history and shows the instrument the care that it deserves.

Thank you Jay, I really appreciate you and your families support. Our mission is to make instruments sound beautiful and make them available to musicians that really love music and want to play. You are a great musician, I really enjoyed the Joplin music today. Thank you...
