Two Man Moving LLC

Rip off - held our furniture hostage for 3 hours, demanding more money (cash or money orders only; hurricane was starting and businesses were closed down - suggested we run from atm to atm to get cash which would have been fraud). Move should have cost approx. $1k - charged $2,400. Workers sat in truck 3 hours (no rain) until they got ok for a check, then unloaded as downpour started.

Stay far away from this moving company!!!! The level of unprofessional was unreal. I contacted them to schedule a move and made an appointment. The movers were over 1 hour late, which is understandable to a degree if you are stuck in traffic. I had to call the driver for regular updates as the time got later and later. I finally contacted the moving company to speak to management regarding an adjustment or workable solution for the delay.

Absolutely the Worst Moving Experience of My Life – Avoid Two Man Moving LLC at All Costs If I could give Two Man Moving LLC zero stars, I would. This company is nothing short of a scam operation, and I regret ever trusting them with my move from St. Petersburg to Miami. I was quoted and signed a written contract for $900, only for them to change the price to $2700 after they had all of my belongings loaded.

This is a straight up scam. They quote you $99 per hour, have you sign a blank form, then add tons of fees after your belongings are loaded on the truck. Ours went from an estimated $300 to $2000. They will then hold your belongings hostage until you pay the money. The movers straight up lied about their identity, and your point of contact at their “office” is just as much a part of the extortion scam as the two movers they send out. Once we finally got our things, they were slamming boxes and broke several items.

If I can give them negative stars I would. I used their service in FEB. When I initially called I hesitated & the manager Luis came on the phone and reassured me that the service was legit & he would be available if I have any questions. He assured me the cost was legit. He was available every time I had a question prior to the day of service. The day of service and after he ghosted me. The movers came and they looked like they picked these guys up off the side of the road.

Scam and fraud company. Shame on me for not doing a 20 second review of this company. I used yelp to help me find movers and got a text from Julia and details of the move costs, broken down. We ended up talking on the phone and she verbally gave me a quote for a move from st pete to jupiter (3.5-4 hours away) for a 3 bedroom house to move. I was quoted on the phone $1,045.00 for 6 hours minimum of move time + 4 hour travel time + fuel charge.

DO NOT USE! Oh boy did I make a mistake not looking at the reviews before using this company. It's taken me months to write this review because of how upset I've been. First off, the process leading up to the move was smooth. They responded to me quickly (although with lies) and had me excited and ready for a smooth move with a total quote of around $600 (I did most of the move myself this was for large items of a small 1 bedroom apt). Well let's get to the morning of.. They were scheduled to arrive between 8-9am.
