Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

An important piece of computer equipment that had personal information was lost. They damaged a piece of furniture and only credited me $75. I’ve researched the cost of repair to this piece of furniture and it’s about double that amount. Curtis Grace at their office is no help at all. Whatever you do please go elsewhere. I would have paid more somewhere else for better service. I want to edit this review because the owner just replied to my review and actually lied.

One of the Packers did a terrible job was not nice and kind to my items just threw them in boxes any kind of way. The movers came they were upset with the packers. It took them forever to load the truck and then they left some of my items off of the truck. No one tried to give me any assistance with this I called spoke to dave. Dave said I needed to speak to his manager he said his manager will call me back. The manager never got back with me I had to find a way to remove my items myself.

Beware utilizing this company. I spoke to Dave numerous times regarding the charges for a local move to ensure all understanding of charges and potential additional charges. The day before the move, I received a call from a young woman expressing urgency to sign more paperwork. Of course, I immediately signed to expedite processing. What a mistake. This added another $258 to my move. Here's the shystie part. The DocuSign documents were highlighted where to sign.

Another awful moving experience. The movers showed up THREE hours late, SIX hours after their estimated time. Because of this, we were forced to move in the dark which resulted in several things being broken and my mailbox being hit by their truck. The main office wasn't responsive and didn't answer their phone to allow for a reschedule so I was stuck with a late, dark move. 0/10 would not recommend. Pay more for a better company.

Where do I begin. This weekend I went with this location (against my better judgement) and really regret my decision. First, let me start by saying the two young men that were sent to handle my move were very courteous, timely and for the most part professional. However, there were some issues that I just cannot overlook. First, they did not bring tools to breakdown and put together my furniture. I've used this company on a total of four occasions and this is the first time I've experienced this.

Very concerning and disappointing experience. Oliver entered my phone number incorrectly, then told the movers I was “crazy” for not answering, an extremely inappropriate comment considering the communication issue was caused by his own error. My invoice also listed 20 mirror boxes I never received (I only requested one TV box which I never got??) and an additional travel fee even though the original $525 deposit already covered that charge.

There were many issues but the biggest was scheduling. We were told we would have an afternoon job and during the "sales" call it was mentioned that the crew should be done by 1 or 2 and we would be getting a call. At 4pm I called to check on our status. I was told a crew just got back and would be on their way. The move started at 5pm but the worst thing was the crew had already done two house moves. They were exhausted and should not have been allowed to do another job that day.

I’ve used Two Men & A Truck before years ago and the move was perfect. The time was valued and my things were taken care of. So naturally, for this move, I hired them again. This time it was very different. I was moving a 1bd & 1ba. The only thing I had the movers move was my bed, two dressers, two TVs, a couch, and a few boxes. What should have only taken 2 hours, maybe 3 tops ended up taking 5.5 hours.
