Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

Workers were very slow initially with a rational that we want to be careful, towards the end they were dropping things and being supper careless!!! I specifically told them about handling my floor lamp but they did not even care! Customer Service is AWFUL! The movers broke my floor lamp during the move on March 17th and took the broken pieces with themselves with a promise that the company will compensate us for the damage.

We engaged this company for our second move thinking that they are honest and upfront about their charges. We actually had a quote for a lower amount from another decent moving company. We clearly told Two Men and a Truck that our move involved packing and storing and then delivering to our new address. They gave us a quote which clearly says "Complete Estimate" and we accepted.

I hired this company for a move from Toronto to Burlington and was very disappointed. I felt mislead by a quote that almost doubled after moving. The biggest and most concerning issue was the misleading quote. I was given an estimate, only to receive a final bill nearly double that amount, with explanations that simply didn’t add up.

As much as the two movers we had worked really hard, I can’t give a decent review for our recent move. While we started the day with 3 movers, the head guy injured his shoulder early in the morning and had to leave for the day (with the company not providing a replacement or checking in on us, the client). This challenged the two remaining (younger) workers to ‘step up’.

Worst and most expensive moving experience I've had in my life! The team only had to do an internal move within an apartment building and yet they took longer to do that then when I moved in five years before and had moved from a house and storage unit into my apartment and I had more furniture then. One of the movers was particularly unprofessional, said he was looking for COVID and wore his face mask as a hair accessory. He also said how sorry he felt for me because I'm disabled and have chronic health issues.

Nightmare! Top issues: #1 Deceptive quote process. The quoted us for $3,055 (higher than several competitors, but we foolishly thought this is the sign of a premium service) , but ended up charging us more than $6,396. They had a detailed inventory of our furniture, as well as the number of rooms, and this scope has not changed. This 100% cost inflation is an unethical bait-and-switch tactic. #2 Unassembled, dysfunctional furniture.

Complete scam, dishonest and sexist behavior. My wife and I hired David and Johnathan and company for a small move to clear out some boxes for staging of our condo (not a full apartment move). The move in total took three hours, and we had a four-hour minimum. However, when it came time to pay Johnathan billed my wife an additional 45 minutes (i.e., $200) on top of the four hours already paid for.

This company does not care at all about the customers, a manager told me :,"I do not care about your reviews. We are still largest company in North America regardless what people write about us" Here is my story- My builder cancelled my occupancy on the day of the occupancy, and when I called to cancelled my movers I was told I can not do that because I missed the deadline. So I got charged 1000 $ without the work performed. I was offered to reschedule this move but I should pay for 2 more hours which I refused.
