Moved with them a month ago. It was different people since they're changing ownership which is a shame since the previous owner was great! It was three people who came. Two were great but one of them was rude, had no respect for our stuff and just wanted to get out of there. We wanted certain things to go in specific roles especially the heavy ones but he didn't care, just said you can figure it out later but then he would ask us where to put stuff. It was very frustrating. He broke one of our chests too.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

Very pleased with my move from a Yorkville condo to an Upper Beaches bungalow. I had the great assistance of Victor, Denis and Andrew. They were very helpful and polite and even assisted with protecting my furniture with bubble wrap and blankets. Denis (the boss) even disassembled my bed and reassembled it. He is the company owner and was sure to deliver a great service along with his team.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write your review, Elizabeth. We appreciate it and are glad we were able to help your move go smoothly. Dealing with great customers makes our moves so much better!! I'll pass your kind words onto our staff.
Hands down best moving experience ever!! Trustworthy, great people, fair pricing, and the movers made everything so stress free, fast and took such extra care with our items. We had major construction they had to maneuver, as well as 2 locations and they effortlessly figured it out, and kept us calm the whole time. Love love love this company will be using them for anything moving related HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I had a great experience working with Friends with a Cube Van to help me move a few large pieces of furniture to two locations in November. The initial booking process was easy, I called first for a quote and did the rest via email. I found their quote to be the most clear and concise compared to other services I inquired. I was really happy with how on time the movers were to the pick-up location (in Mississauga) at 9am.
Thanks for the great review Alice! Sending 3 movers was a management decision, based on the short elevator booking at the 2nd destination. We only charged you for 2 workers, as per our agreement (we're not that cheeky!) We hope you enjoyed the holiday and life in your new space!
We can’t thank Your Friend With a Cube Van enough for making our moving day so much easier. Denis and his crew were absolutely phenomenal — showing up with professionalism, good humour, and a level of care and dedication that went far beyond our expectations. From carefully handling our most delicate items to problem-solving tricky driveways, they worked with diligence from start to finish. You can tell this team takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about their clients.
