In their own words
I would give this company, negative 5 stars if I could. Two men and a truck, is by far the worst company I ever hired. Not only was I quoted $499, for a job that only moved my clothes a 55 inch TV and a mattress no Boxspring no bed frame; I ended up paying over $1200. In addition, when the mover called his supervisor, his supervisor was extremely rude to him. I was standing next to the mover and heard the Supervisor say “why would you tell her her original quote!

The movers did a good job. A couple of walls did get dinged, but they made good for it on our bill at the end. The men were polite, respectful and hardworking. The men get 5 stars…. BUT……. The reason for the 1 star is customer service. Our mattress was damaged during the move. The man in charge took photos and told us how to submit a claim. He was apologetic and said we would get help. We moved on May 24 and called right away regarding the damage.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've forwarded this to our claims department.
I really wish I had read these other reviews before hiring Two Men & A Truck! I have over $20,000.00 worth of missing property and cannot get anyone to return phone calls or even respond. Movers Who Care-that is their company slogan. What a joke! They claim no responsibility for missing items-why-because no one confessed to stealing them. Really?! What a surprise! Management and operations are just awful. All I can say is do NOT trust them. If you do hire them-do not take your eyes off of them for a second!
The movers were nice and generally did a good job, but it is impossible to get damage fixed. The movers damaged my flooring with the washer. Their flooring vendor made multiple appointments and never showed up. I had to keep reaching out to them because they took 0 initiative. Reached out to Two Men and a Truck for a new vendor or an alternative solution but they haven’t replied in a week. My flooring has been damaged for more than a month now. I don’t recommend you use them and risk this happening to you too.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Ulysses. Please contact our office to discuss this matter further.
We recently used Two Men and a Truck for our move and we were not very happy with the experience. The movers were clumsy. They broke one of our lamps because they foolishly picked it up by the metallic bulb end instead of the base. They also damaged our new grill and did not tell us! The metal grating inside our grill is cracked and the AKORN lid no longer seals shut - it was clearly dropped or fell over and the movers must have known.

- Very expensive and paid by the hour. Even though I was quoted by what was being moved, the price drastically changed once movers were on site. I ended up having them leave over a dozen boxes (already packed and sealed) to cut cost, but it didn't cut any time and still paid full price. - Multiple pieces of wooden furniture were severely broken and not discovered until days later. - They damaged three walls and gouged holes into our drywall.
Thanks for letting us know and if you would like to discuss further please call us at [phone removed].
I am beyond disappointed with Two Men and a Truck. Supposedly, I “only listed 31 items” and didn’t include my washer and dryer — which is absolutely not true. That was the very first thing I mentioned, and they even asked if it was upstairs or downstairs. I hired movers to move my whole house, not just 31 items. From the start, it was a disaster.
We're sorry to learn of this experience, Kristina. We take all feedback seriously; we will pull all calls and address this with our team.
I received my shipment last week and contrary to the reviews below I’m quite disappointed with the service.. So far, 1 mirror 1 piano keyboard 1 Light fixture is fully broken. Crockery Balance board While the 2 guys were loading the furniture in the relo cube in Indianapolis, I expressed my concern about the mirror which they placed on top.

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience using Two Men and a Truck for my interstate move. From the very first phone call, their team was professional, responsive, and clear about the entire process. They provided a fair and transparent quote with no hidden surprises, which gave me peace of mind. On moving day, the crew showed up right on time, fully prepared, and ready to work.
Thank you, Tracy, for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that our team made your interstate move seamless and stress-free. Your kind words about our professionalism and care mean a lot to us. Thanks for choosing TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!
I called to get a free quote on a move. Matthew, the consultant I talked with, was super friendly, helpful, and made me feel not stupid about not knowing anything about moving. The price seems really good for moving. They took care of my stuff, the movers were really friendly, and they loaded/unloaded really fast. I’d give it a 4.75 only because they called/arrived about 2hours early so I felt rushed but it all worked out. Good people, good value :)
Thanks we will let the crew and Mathew know your thoughts!
We recently moved from downtown Indianapolis to a local suburb right after our son was born we needed the extra help moving The office team was very responsive and accommodating to some changes we needed from the original moving date. The 2 movers that showed up the day of the move were very professional and wrapped all our furniture in blankets and plastic wrap and moving with purposes throughout the day completing our projected move time 2.5 hours earlier than quoted saving us some money.
Hello Justin, Thank you for choosing the Movers Who Care and sharing how your recent move went. We truly appreciate it and are so happy to have helped make the day easier!
Two Men and a Truck were the best partners I could have imagined for a potentially stressful moving day. From the initial estimate process (quick and easy online survey, with a follow-up), through the final move, I had a wonderful experience with TMaaT. I had to push back my move day multiple times, due to various issues on my end. Each time, TMaaT were very flexible and rescheduled without any problem. Their policy for rescheduling is VERY fair to the customer.
This is great and we are soooo happy we got the chance to meet you and help on your move day!
