Shady pricing. When I first called this branch of Two Men and a Truck I was quoted $2,100 for a 3-stop move from Durham, NC to Greensboro, NC. I talked to a sales representative who asked me some baseline questions (how many bedrooms, and how many pieces of furniture in the primary bedroom). I was pleased with the quote because it was $500 cheaper than what their competitor offered me.

Claire, Your experience is very important to us. Relocating in the state is regulated, and based on the weight of shipment and mileage traveled when transited over 35 miles. Our teams make every effort to provide estimates based on descriptive inventories provided by you in advance of service.

Do NOT hire Two Men and a Truck. I had moving damages in July 2023 and the company continues to ghost me (it is now almost February 2024). The amount of emails and calls I have made is unacceptable. On moving day, the movers dragged our foam mattress through a parking garage, which ripped chunks off. Accidents happen, but this was completely disrespectful and unprofessional! Please be warned that the company only paid us back $100 for damaging our brand new $5,000 mattress (amongst damage to our bikes in transit)!

Jessica, Your experience is very important to us, and we are sorry that the service did not complete without incident. It is the nature of the industry that claims do sometimes occur when items are transferred to a new space.

Rating is poor!! I was called by the company to schedule an earlier time than originally requested. I agreed. At the scheduled time, there had been no call. I waited another 10 minutes and called the company. I was told that the crew’s schedule ETA would be found out and I would be called in 5 minutes. Fifteen minutes later, no call. I called again and asked about the schedule and complained about poor service and lack of communication.

We used this company for a long-distance move from Durham, NC to Pennsylvania. The moving crew themselves did a solid job. They were efficient and careful with our belongings, with only a few minor breakages that were reasonable given the size of the move. No complaints about the guys on the ground. The issue was with the estimate and how it was handled. Our estimator, Paul, quoted us $7,500 for the move, based on needing two trucks. On the actual move day, only one truck showed up.

Used the services of Two Men and a Truck 2-21-2022 to move from Stem,NC to Hillsborough,NC. Had everything packed and ready to go before the guys arrived and divided into two distinct piles (in separate rooms for clarity). I’ve sold my home and will be staying with a friend until I find another home to purchase. I divided my boxes into a pile for permanent storage and a pile of necessities for daily living…. Cosmetics, jewelry, toiletries, computer, etc , that I need to be able to access quickly.

The movers were polite and courteous. A 3 man crew arrived as scheduled along with 2 trainees. The trainees were left to do much of the moving unsupervised and their inexperience showed as almost every single piece of furniture was scratched, gouged or otherwise damaged. They tried to move a Queen sleeper and only held the bed frame in with shrink wrap and it opened up as they came in the door to the new place damaging stair banister and wall.

Guys were nice enough, but they charged me about $1,500 over my estimate for repacking most of my items. (A $4 roll of tape!) When I received my estimate, the estimator told me that so long as the items were in boxes they were ready to move - clearly this wasn't the case. My movers repacked my items for their own convenience so they could take smaller boxes quickly: fine, I guess, but I'm not sure why I'm covering that cost. They also talked me out of full value insurance which I thought was a little weird.

Move October 6, 2022 - Three men and a truck arrived at 9:45. The person handling the paperwork smelled as if he had smoked up just before arriving. We signed the paper work and they began packing the first room. Three men took 1 hour to wrap one room with only 5 pieces of furniture. That set the stage for the way the work would continue throughout the day. 15 minute breaks to chat and take a sip of drink. When confronted that they were not working they were unprofessional as was their chit chat while packing.

We couldn't be happier with our moving experience with Two Men and a Truck. Doing business with Two Men and a Truck could not have been easier. They were extremely responsive and flexible when scheduling the visit to assess our moving needs, their estimate was very reasonable, and with no pressure to get you to pay for things you don't need. The movers came on time and were courteous, professional, and unbelievably efficient.

We used Two Men and a Truck for an interstate move from Raleigh to Charleston. We would definitely use them again for a future move. From the start of the process, the whole team was very communicative and helpful. On move day, Ramon and his partner (I believe his name was Ronin) showed up on time and were very professional. They also very impressively maneuvered into my driveway which I wouldn’t have thought possible with a truck that large.

My wife and I were transitioning to the Raliegh, NC area quickly. We needed someone quickly to help us unload my mother-n-laws things as they were moving with us as well. My wife called at the end of the day on Tuesday and inquired if they had availability to assist asap. The gentleman who took the call was very friendly and patient. He said we definitely can help and it would be no problem. They made the process so easy!

Prior to actual move Mr. Scott Greene came to our place and checked all that had to be moved and guided us as to what needed to be emptied and what could go as is. Explained that when the movers will come they will wrap every item in safety blankets, large TVs will go in boxes and mattresses will be in plastic bags. Gave us an estimate for number of hours and cost. On agreed day and TIME two persons arrived in a truck- Mr. Terrence and Mr. Dallas.
