Completely unprofessional, slow, uncommunicative, and confused. I hired a crew from the Dallas location but it looks like all the North TX locations have bad reviews. I’ve worked with small, mom & pop moving businesses that are more efficient than Two Men & a Truck. The Google reviews are cooked - check Yelp instead if you want a real representation of people’s experiences. They misquoted my amount on the initial quote and ended up charging me more, despite their screw ups.

I used Two Men and a Truck for a local move from Lewisville to Dallas. I am a 6th grade middle school teacher. This summer I purchased a house to get closer to my work. July 21, Thursday, 2022 1-6pm *Highlights: My moving includes 1 fridge, 1 Queen bed with 2 mattress, study desk and a chair, small dining table with chairs, and less than 20 boxes labeled and organized. - Good: The movers came on time; they were nice and working hard. - Bad: The movers could not get the fridge out.
Hello Hope, We are sorry to hear about any issues that may have come up during your move, however according to our notes this claim was completed and closed out back in 2022. We see that our repair team came out and made repairs in 2022.
We used Two Men and a Truck this past move and let me tell anyone reading this, do NOT use this company if you are located or offered services in or around Mckinney. Long story short, of the 3 individuals who helped during the move, stole my grandmothers medicine. Two full bottles of Tramadol and Hydrocodone. I have reached out to the company to express my concerns with the individuals involved as all I wanted was an apology. But now it seems the company is only interested in keeping this subject internal only.

Our mailbox was hit during the move, I was told someone would come out to look at the mailbox (didn’t happen) and then told someone would come out to repair it and that did not happen. I was communicating with Kevin and he seems to have stopped responding to my emails. McKinney TX

If I could I would give less stars.. but here we go.. quote was 4 to 6 hours and took them 10 hours!!!.. just to take my bed apart and put it together they took over 3 hours and 2 guys working in the bed, while the other one was loading boxes by himself. I had to take the front door off the hinges because the fridge was to big, but when got to the other house, they didn't wait and the fridge is now all scratched.. (I wasn't going to say anything, until it got worse)..

Chose this company because of the good reviews and because they’ve been around a while. Everything during the move went fairly well...or so I thought. The crew consisted of two highly experienced workers and one “not so experienced” worker. I could tell because he kept asking the other guys how to do things that professional movers would know already.
John, I am sorry to hear of your experience. We have no notes about missing items in any of our recorded conversations with you. Unfortunately when moving out of storage we can only offer a certain level of liability as these items were wrapped prior to our arrival.
I very rarely post reviews, but thought this could possibly save someone else some time and money. I chose Two Men and a Truck McKinney because they had pretty good reviews. After receiving a quote, I booked the move. The person I spoke with on the phone had quoted me 3-5 hours at $114/hr and a trip charge of $114. The time it would take and the price was right on track with what I've paid before with other moving companies. The day of the move two guys arrived right on time. I have no issues with the two movers.

I requested a one way move from Plano to Sherman. I had one bed, one sofa, one Peloton and a few small boxes and bags. I informed the agent the move was to a third-floor apartment. I was given a quote of $465. I understood that additional labor charges would apply if the move took longer than 1.5 hours, but the booking agent assured me that that should be plenty of time. In retrospect, the drive time between Plano and Sherman is almost 1.5 hours.

I cannot speak more highly of my moving experience with this company! They deserve 10 stars. Trent & his crew were the hardest working professionals I have seen. Not only did they treated every piece of my furniture like it was being transported to a museum, but they worked quickly and protected my home as well. We had a complicated move & they acted as if it was something they were happy to do - going above and beyond even the best moving experience I could have imagined. The best part was the price.

For my move from Oklahoma to Texas, I used Two Men And A Truck, as recommended by friends and family, and it was the best decision I could have made! The process from request to receiving estimate, to the actual move was so easy and stress free (I was stressed in general because moving is stressful lol, but the process was easy). Jaylen (sp?) was great-- kind, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and scheduling the move itself and receiving the estimate of charges was smooth and easy.
