Two Men and a Truck Moving

Our experience with this moving company was nothing short of a nightmare. They arrived with a smaller truck than what was needed to accommodate our items listed in the quote, causing unnecessary delays and frustrations. Instead of efficiently resolving the issue, they wasted time rearranging furniture in the truck to maximize hourly charges. Their unprofessionalism extended to using foul language and speaking ill of customers while in our home.

6-25-24 Update to their reply: I cannot believe a company like this would lie…. None of your staff was being hovered over. Your staff is the one who was cursing in my house, wasting time , and running the clock on purpose. We have photo and video evidence. The owner of this franchise should be ashamed of himself to falsely claims. The refund given to us was not out of good faith so everyone knows. The refund is because they do not know how to count hours and added additional time for our move.

I used their services twice and first and foremost I need to say that these guys really work hard. With the first move they came late- although they did call and indicate that, they have another move in the morning one day prior to my move. The problem was, when they finally arrived, they had already worked some hours and by law could not work in excess of what OSHA specified to move all my stuff. So I ended up having to move the rest over two weeks!!

I have used the service three times before. As I said, no reply. This was the first time it was booked under my name. The other times it was put under my father's name for me.. This particular time the crew left a bunch of stuff in the original location (in the reply they either didn't accommodate for enough stuff with the size of their truck or they did not pack efficiently which is more likely the culprit. We had everything fit into two rooms.

Not to be trusted (the business at 7935 Wright Road, Houston TX). Guys ignore me about how to move part of a desk, so they proceed to break it. They stop to call in and report this to office. Time is wasted I had to pay for as they talk this though. Get told the extra insurance I paid for will take care of it. Am told they will get back to me. Life happens, time passes but no contact from them. I call, was told to 1.) send pics and 2.) get estimates to repair or replace. I do that via email. They go silent again.

Extremely unprofessional experience — do NOT recommend I scheduled Two Men and a Truck for a simple in-town move after an emergency in my home left me needing to get my belongings out quickly. When the movers arrived, they looked at my garage and immediately decided they didn’t want to do the job. They came inside, smelled the faint odor from the water leak, and became dramatic and rude, gagging and acting like the situation was far worse than it was.

Unethical company! I had a terrible experience with this moving company. I was quoted a rate for 3 guys to come out and move my house. They sent 2 guys and charged me the same rate when it took twice the time. The actual movers gray and worked hard but it clearly was a 3 man job. The movers understood my dispute and said they would leave the final amount blank on the contract and the office would call me the next day to figure it out. Turns out they did not call and just charged my card.

When we called this business we spoke to a nice woman who was very accommodating. On the day of the move three men showed up who were also accommodating and pleasant. We had a shelving unit that was questionable to move due to a crack so we tossed it. They also recommended that we toss 2 other shelving units because it was likely they would break on transit. They did not wrap our chiminea and it shattered in transit. The mover called and was told they would take an hour off of the bill to cover it.
