Two Men and a Truck Moving

Update, not only did we follow up with the damage report, but we never were even given a call back after the damage report was made. We also discovered that we had a box of our crystal vases all wedding gifts missing. In conclusion they broke our sons brand new crib, dropped our dryer, and stole our crystal. I would never recommend this company nor will we ever use them again. Find someone else and do your research. Terrible communication and theft. I was disappointed with the quality of the moving service.

Horrible. It took them 3 days to move us 1 mile. We were quoted $1500 before I signed the contract, which seemed like a good deal. Then, the packers didn’t pack about 20% of our stuff. The next day, they loaded the truck and left about 30% of our stuff. They had my husband sign another estimate which added an additional $3750 to the price. The contract was with me, not him. Either way, estimates should be provided up front, not after you have all of our stuff “hostage”, that’s blackmail.

2 stars because one great experience, and one bad. First time we hired them to load a 15 ft Uhaul, no complaints. Movers were professional and quick, managing to end early and keep our costs down. Would have rated 5 stars based only on this interaction. Second time, my partner got a quote for $800-1500 (reasonable for the work and within expectation), but there was a $400 surcharge for "Supplies." My partner spoke with Chris Peters and indicated he was less than professional in their interaction.

Our appointment was at 1:30 p.m., the Movers showed up a half an hour late and did not even step foot in the house until approx 2:20 pm. We were told a quote of 500 to 700. The movers were slow but very nice. They literally had five guys there and we had most of the items brought down stairs and placed in the garage for them to save time and money. We were charged 860.00 and were told it took longer than expected. I asked how that could be because they had 5 guys there.

During our move our TV stand was broken. They came to fill out a claim. That was on 9/10/20. I have not heard from them since. I have emailed and called with no response. Our movers were great outside of accidentally damaging our TV stand. The customer service after has been great disappointment with no communication at all. I would not recommend them just for the fact that their customer service is nonexistent if something is damaged and they seem to not want to correct the issue.

I was lied to about the price, quote & the services at move sight. It's was $1507.00 for a 12-3 move. The movers closed the doors at 1:25 at load location. Was at destination unloaded, just thrown in apt. The movers drove away at 2:25 pm. Cheated me on 35 minutes. At $500 an hr. Cheated me at move location. They stalled/stood still called their office?? There office told me they would add an hour $400 more cash. That at move site they denied that. I was moved with a 5% of my belongings on a court order.

Schedule team and movers pressured us with time all the time. It seems that in movers team everyone is boss. They come and repeatedly remind that they don’t have time. Even so I asked and explained that I am moving and don’t care how long it takes. I am paying by hourly anyway so why they were pushing about time not clear and gives lots of stress to customer. They also complained about adding more boxes and items. Again it is hourly based and people are moving and more stuff could happen.

Leading up to date of move the office communication was great. The day of the move, the office called to let us know they would arrive 3 hours early. Within the 30 minutes of movers arrival, they already decided they would exceed the estimated time by an hour (almost as if they had to fulfill a days work). Crew was VERY slow.......VERY weak.......and VERY unprofessional. 7 hours of paid moving time included smoke breaks and lunch. Yes, I paid $270 an hour for them to smoke and eat lunch.
