I had 4 movers and 2 trucks come to my elderly mothers house to move. They arrived late, ran off the driveway onto the grass. They apologized and took photos of the damaged lawn. Two of the guys were working at a regular pace (1 wrapping furniture the other moving boxes to the truck) while the other 2 were not (one standing in the truck waiting for boxes to be delivered to him while the other walked around the house).

FIRST and FOREMOST, they charged $1200 to move a ONE BEDROOM apt (local move within 5 miles). We didn’t approve of the charges and they said they would adjust it but instead STOLE the money from our account without additional communication. We (me and Nicole T.) used them yesterday to move a one bedroom apt. We were quoted for 3 hours at $200 per hour. At the end of the day, it was 5 hours at $1237.19. Why was it doubled?

Absolutely DO NOT use Two Men and a Truck, Jacksonville, FL location. I had to select 1 star in order to post this review, but really they deserve negative stars. I hired them for what I thought would be a very simple move, and instead I have terrible damage to my living room floor as a result of the carelessness of the movers. They dragged, yes dragged, a heavy buffet across the floor which made two deep scratches about 15 feet in length from my living room, through the foyer to the base of the stairs.

We had a very disappointing move with 2 Men and a truck. We went with 2 Men and a truck because we were told someone would come out to our house and catalog our inventory and give us a flat rate to move everything in our house to our new home. We were told everything would fit in one truck but it would be close. Regardless we were told they’d move all the inventory in our house for one flat rate. That was not the case, the day the movers came to our house they immediately said this was a 2 truck job.

This was the worst experience moving in the past 15 years. It also happened to be the nearest. Actually less than 10 minutes away, one street away. When delivering to my new condo, they fractured the wall outside of the elevator. Instead of taking ownership, they insulted my neighboring owner. They argued, and as I finally got her to calm down, they antagonized her with "have a good night young lady". She was in her 60s. They damaged international treasure gems from spices, custom created artwork, frames, etc.

Do not use this moving company. They will underdeliver and charge you a premium price for their subpar service. Fact check: 3 bedroom apartment to be moved 8 miles away, where owners moved 1/3 of the boxes themselves, took 13 hours! Buyer beware.

I used Two Men and a Truck Jacksonville for my move this past weekend, and I honestly can’t even put into words how amazing the entire crew was. We’ve moved multiple times in the past, and this was by far the smoothest move we’ve ever had. From the moment they arrived, every guy was extremely respectful — they came up, shook my hand, introduced themselves, and immediately made us feel comfortable. Had a great experience with our team from Two Men and a Truck. Given the size of our move, they sent three movers, all who were great to work with. They showed up on time, and only took about 15 minutes over the estimated time. We were still trying to pack up the last of our items when they arrived, but they worked around us without complaint. Everything was handled really well. I think this was the first move we've had where nothing got broken.

Two men in a truck have moved me several times to different homes that I've been purchasing in the Jacksonville St Augustine and Yulee Florida market. Their movers are very personable, they take very good care of everything that I have in my home, they protect mattresses, artwork, and have the utmost care for all of your personal belongings. In my last new Henry who was the lead mover make sure everything went smooth for my move and they even cleaned up trash before they left.
