Two Men and a Truck Moving

$750 for a move is absolutely ridiculous. It's straight up robbery if you ask me. I don't have that many items to move since I live in a studio, but I did have some larger furniture that I couldn't move myself— which is why I hired movers. I picked this moving company because I thought they would be extra careful with my furniture. To my surprise, 1 of the 3 men wound up damaging 1 of my wardrobes to the extent that I now need a new one, even though it was wrapped up.

My movers Chris and Jesus were awesome. Chris has moved me multiple times and always does an outstanding job. My first complaint is I was not notified 30 minutes prior to dispatching to my home and I paid $661 and was only given a 5% military discount. Demarius which is dispatch was extremely rude when I called about being under the impression of a 10% discount and he was extremely condescending stating that it has always been 5%. Standard veteran/military discount is 10% not 5%.

This was the fourth time we have used your moving services because our previous experiences had been so positive. Unfortunately, this move was a significant disappointment. The movers did not take the same level of care with our furniture, appliances, or home that we had come to expect. As a result, our walls and floors were dinged, furniture was scratched, our front door was damaged, and our refrigerator was dented. We even had to pay for repairs to ensure we received our security deposit back.

want to start by saying that our three movers themselves were polite, hard-working young men and we deeply appreciated their kindness. However, everything that happened after the move has been an absolute nightmare, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone. First, the movers caused extensive damage to multiple door frames and walls in our brand-new home—scratches, gouges, and even removal of wood.

The movers were pleasant, helpful and hard working. The one star review has more to do with the management at this operation: they’re scheming, greedy and they will deny ALL claims for damages. We had over 3K in damages during the move, mostly to the walls and door frames of our new house. Instead of trying to evaluate the damages and determine if they were responsible, they hid behind loose legal language in their contract and denied all request for reimbursement.

Such a negative experience from the start. The office girl was super unresponsive to my questions. The moving crew was so reckless and carefree. They broke a dinning chair as soon as the move started. My white couch and white bed frame were dirty at the end of the move. I asked to please not step on the carpet or rug and one of the guys decided it was a good idea to roll a dolly in the carpet and kept walking on it even after I asked to please not.

This has to be the worst moving company I’ve ever used. I just needed help moving bigger pieces like bedroom furniture, sofa, and a Dr Pepper machine. Figured it would take 3 hrs to move a block. These guys were very slow. They then forgot my Dr Pepper machine so I had to get another contractor to take care of it. They quoted me a $800 figure for 3 hrs. I ended up paying $1300!!! And they didn’t even complete the job!!

I have used them twice before, and they were so good. This time the movers were excellent and easy to work with, but the salesperson this time was not very good. He just wouldn’t listen. We wrapped and boxed all our stuff and there was no furniture except for the patio furniture. I kept telling him all I needed was labor, but he wouldn’t listen. I used them because I knew better from experience.
