Two Men and a Truck Moving

After being over 90 minutes late to show up, the crew was very slow, and seemed to want to take the entire time estimated vs a sense of professional urgency. A team of 4 took 5.5 hours to load a pod with just basic home furniture. Something I’m sure could have been done in 3.5 hours if they had talked and complained a bit less. They were dragging furniture across the floor leaving marks on tile, and wall damages.

Do not use these people. They made an already stressful day of moving so much worse. The crew was supposed to call me at 9 when leaving the yard. I didn't receive a call until 9:30 at which time they told me they would be there at 10. Niw it is raining at this point. At 10:15 I call them to see where they are and the response is, "We are getting a bite to eat, we don't work in the rain." I finally get a call around 11 or so that they are on the way. 11:30 comes and nobody is there.

Poor experience. All we wanted was two king beds swapped. The two men, Tyler & partner had no experience nor any training in how to move furniture. They crammed two king mattresses ,two box springs & an adjustable frame all into one bedroom. Really? what poor planning was that? no wonder they gouged three walls, and shredded an expensive Ashley side board of the bed frame. They had no tools, and no knowledge of how to use them.

REALLY POOR EXPERIENCE. First time using Two Mean & a Truck Moving. The two men had zero experience moving furniture. It was a THREE RING CIRCUS! All we asked them to do was swap the king mattress & box spring with a king mattress & adjustable base in a second bedroom. They weren't strong enough to move the furniture and weren't careful enough nor did they think things through ahead of time. They gouged three walls.

Have been a user of Two Men and a Truck for ten years and four moves. The previous three move were in San Antonio and were 5 star. This was my first and LAST move with the New Braunfels office. They sent out a team of three, a highly qualified team leader and two trainees. One trainee was a hard worker and willing to learn and the other was just taking up space. They took much longer to accomplish the move. I called the office and talked to a manager with my complaint and we agreed to drop an hours moving fee.

The crew was great. Efficient and courteous. However, I am upset because I understood that this move of about a dozen items to an apartment five miles away would cost $350. I paid a $100 deposit, so I was expecting I would be paying $250 when the job was done. However, the balance I was charged upon completion was $400. This difference of $150 distressed me and I expressed my dissatisfaction to the local manager. No further adjustments were made, so I won't recommend the service to anyone.

The only reason this review wasn’t 1 star was because the moving team was friendly and easygoing. However, this was a terrible experience for my first time using a moving company. I had to help them carry my own queen bed base because they could not as they dragged it all across the floor and did not even bother wrapping/protecting it. A 3 hour job turned into 5+ hours which means a lot more money had to be paid from my end. The base got torn up and I filed a claim which hardly covered anything.

The worst moving company ever! Charged by the hour so they could milk the clock. The workers were on their phones half of the time while the clock is ticking. This company has a strategy and it works obviously because they are still in business after scamming customers. We had photos of the workers just standing around doing nothing, talking on their phones, folding blankets etc. we brought this up to management and they appeared to support this behavior. Do not do business with this company.
