Two Men and a Truck Moving

They sent 3 young guys that look like teens which no problem some teens work hard. But these guys were not at all professional. SLOW SLOW WASTED TIME WHICH LED TO ME PAYING MORE THAN I WAS QUOTED. Something that should have took 3 to 4 hours took all day long THIS IS SECOND TIME USING THEM FIRST TIME WAS GOOD. HAD LESS STUFF THIS TIME. BROKE A BIRD BATH ID HAD FOR 49 YEARS. AND A CANDLE HOLDER.

Run, don't walk!! No call, no show! Are you kidding me?? Not to mention they wouldn't answer their business phone for the entire day! We are moving 700 miles and you don't show up? Use my credit card and you will receive a call from our attorney.

My experience couldn’t have gone any worse than it did. I knew that my office furniture that needed to be moved from my home to my business location was going to be a challenge based on its size, but I never imagined that “professional movers” wouldn’t be able to do the job without dropping it on the concrete and damaging it in several different areas.

I unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to poor communication and coordination from Two Men and a Truck. During my initial planning discussions with a representative, I was provided with a quote and outlined logistics for the move, including an approximate arrival time for moving day. On the day of the move, I reached out to confirm the movers’ arrival time.

We recently sold our home in Georgia and moved to South Carolina. We hired Two Men and A Truck out of Pooler, Georgia. We have a baby grand piano that they assured us would be no problem to move as they had moved many pianos over the years. The moving team they sent loaded the piano on the piano skidboard keyboard side down. Baby grand pianos are to be loaded onto their flat side. Every reputable moving company knows this. It is standard operating procedure.

I contacted Two Men and a Truck for a residential move from Savannah, GA to Atlanta, GA. Two men came to my home to do an initial estimate and they were prompt, professional and courteous. On the day of the move their movers packed my things on the truck. Given the time to load and the distance, it required an overnight trip.

Worst service ever. Me and my husband bubble wrapped, shrink wrapped, and boxed everything in my house. We even went as far as moving everything into the living room so that the men were able to grab and go. The only extra service that two men in a truck provided, was 2 mattress covers. So someone please tell me why it took them 4.5 hours to pack the truck when they only had to tote my things appropriately 10 steps from the living room to the truck. They did not have to go from room to room to get boxes.

I had booked 3 stages (day 1pack, day 2 move, day 3 unpack). I had explained prior to booking, I will need assistance unpacking and placing items where they need to go. The estimate given for all three stages after walk though was $3,600 and some change. Day 1: half the house was packed. Day 2: half the house was packed and moved. I requested they come back and not only did they begin to throw things in any box, but I had to do the labor myself.
