They moved a friend of mine and lost some of her things and broke some if her things and only moved twenty minutes away and stayed gone for hours, Do Not Let This Company Move You.
The star representative Aaron Gurley who is featured on the website is an absolute joke. I have used 2 Men and a Truck several times over the past few years for various moving needs and have had pleasant experiences until now. Back in Feburary I filled out an online quote for a late March move and I itemized everything I needed moved in the online quote form. I received an email from Aaron that included the quote and call from Aaron a few days later and discussed quote over the phone.
Couldn't recommend. I was quoted three guys for 3 to 5 hours at $900-$1300. One guy was a no-show, leaving two guys who then took 8 hours. Worse still, I'm not even fully moved out. I called in and talked to Ty to add three pieces of living room furniture and a desk to the list, and when the two movers showed up, they said that these items had not been added to the list.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience, Jeremiah. My understanding is that you’ve since spoken with management and have been issued a refund for the issues you encountered.
Called to schedule a move. They were very friendly and helpful to begin with to get us set up, but then as the moving date approaches they stopped returning our calls and ghosted us entirely.
Hello Peter, I hate the hear about your unfortunate expereince, however I have looked in our system and cannot find you listed as a customer with an estimate. It could have possibly been any location or a company with a name similar to ours, we've had that issue before.
Hired for an out of state move and contracted for packing and unpacking services. They were friendly and held to the timeline, but upon arrival at our new home we found that they did not unpack! Additionally we found that our possessions were randomly crammed into boxes with obvious attention to one thing...getting done as fast as possible.
I recently got a quote for my upcoming move to Charlotte. During the process I was told that the quote could fluctuate depending on the distance of the move and size of the load, along with a list of other factors listed on their website. I followed up with full intentions of hiring them for my move, I just had a few questions about how pricing was determined so I could anticipate what the fluctuations in price would be should we choose to add/remove items being moved.
Heather, I do apologize for the miscommunication between you and our CSR. I have passed this information along and it will be addressed by management. If we can ever help in anyway please contact us again and we will make things right.
For the price i thought i’d have stellar service. Courteous, yes. punctual, yes. But falling short on professionalism. To start the guys that moved me acted like they weren’t trained on how to properly pack materials;took frequent breaks sitting in the truck; they lost pieces of furniture; damaged my appliances and even asked to stop at a gas station for a drink otw to the second location! To make matters worse when I reported everything they tried to nickel and dime me when I asked for a partial refund!

The guys that actual load and unload your items are absolutely top notch. Fast, friendly, helpful, and just good people to deal with. The salespeople that answer the phone and set up the appointment are absolutely ridiculous, and will do nothing but ruin your entire experience with this company. It’s a shame, as when the particular individual took my initial order he was extremely helpful and accommodating. Then, when they somehow got my drop-off date wrong, he was an absolute d-bag on the phone. Oh well.

We just had a very positive experience with Two Men and a Truck from start to finish. Aaron came out to do the quote and he communicated clearly, was prompt, responsive and professional. Dillon, Ty, Chandler, and Abraham arrived on time to start the packing and loading process. They were very careful with our belongings, courteous, cheerful, professional, and worked smoothly as a team to complete the loading process in about 5 hours and then drove to our new destination.

All 3 young men were polite, friendly, & worked very hard. They took care to prep & wrap all of our furniture to ensure nothing was damaged. In addition, despite an unexpected challenge (the truck was unable to access out driveway because of the steep grade) they were still efficient & never complained about having to do extra physical work. A job well done at a fair price. I would highly recommend 2 Men & Truck in Winston-Salem!

I am extremely pleased with how everything went, from beginning to end. I was searching for a local mover for my college aged daughter. Originally, I entered all of her items on the website for a quote/estimate, since I had no idea what it would cost. I was impressed to receive an estimate immediately, and a follow up email from Timothy.

We honestly did not know what to expect. We informed the office staff that we had several heavy items. So they elected to send (3) guys and a truck. These folks are serious!! The guys arrived right on time. We had two heavy power couches and some other furniture. But what concerned me was that we had a refrigerator, four heavy large roll around tool boxes full of tools, three industrial table saws, a drill press, miter saw table, two other heavy saws and lots of other assorted shop items.
