Two Small Men with Big Hearts

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Two Small Men managed to check all the boxes for a horrible service: they were extremely late, their staff were rude and unprofessional, they lost a number of valuable items and they refused to communicate with us after we paid the bill. We hired them for a move that had several parts, first to move our stuff out, download it to a storage and then later move it into a new place.

Yeah these guys also ripped me off for cash work aswell absolute horrible people doing that to me once I attempted to get my money the woman barb stopped responding to me

I would not use this moving company. I thought by using a well known name in the moving industry we would have had greater professionalism. We were moving from BC to Alberta, we booked our truck and estimated our items, on the day of the move, the movers arrived and noted that we had more than they quoted, they walked through the home and came back with a new price to ship everything. It was difficult for us to estimate originally so we agreed to the new price.

We used them for our move, the movers themselves were good but slow, where i was really let down was with the management. After a rate discrepancy the manager waited until all my items were being transported to call me and basically tell me he was holding my items hostage until I paid the higher rate. Regardless of the misunderstanding, in my opinion thats not how you handle customer relations. Sadly I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Honestly, booking process was smooth but move itself was horrid. We decided on this company because they had reasonable rates compared to others in the area but the two movers who arrived early Sunday morning did not have two big hearts. As soon as they were downtown they called and complained about not being able to find the building.. rudely hung up. Called again and they were still having trouble, even though it’s one of the most obvious and accessible apartment buildings in Yaletown.

worst moving company ever. showed up 1 hour late for 8am booked move(first move of day) with no apology. began the move somewhat motivated but quickly slowed down. ZERO respect for peoples things. standing on table while stacking/packing, standing on dresser, no shrink wrap of items, kicking bed frames on concrete driveway to fold out of frustration. damaged wall moving desk(apologized). extremely poor service for 700.00 with not a care in the world.

Without a doubt the worst moving experience of my 60+ years on this planet. I don’t understand why they are in the business. It is very suspect. They “lost” numerous large items which were never recovered or paid for. An area rug, a chest freezer, an outdoor fire pit. Multiple broken dishes from poorly wrapped and overstuffed boxes. Unwrapped furniture resulting in scuffed, dirty, scratched and irreparable damages. Terrible customer service and the insurance is a joke. Over $5000 in lost and damaged goods.

I seriously recommend you steer clear of this moving company. I booked a small (1 bedroom) move on September 1 2023 with two movers, and paid the mandatory deposit. Approximately one hour before they expected to arrive, they tried to CANCEL the move. The reason? Well the gentleman on the phone called me to let me know that they had a 3 man crew they were sending, rather than the two, with a significantly higher cost.
