CORPORATE CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!!!! UHAUL needs to retrain their staff on their policy. Went to pick up a rental van for the weekend. Uhaul gave us a verbal quote which I wrote down, but the confirmation email didn't show any estimated pricing. Store General Manager was away for the day. Our pickup was for 7pm, location closes at 8pm. The two young men that were working were courteous, but unfamiliar with corporate rentals.
I’m unlikely to use this location again unless I have no other choice. Wanted to rent one of their $19.95 + miles van for an about 2 hours. In person, they require you take the insurance. That $19.95 goes up to $87 after the 25 mile drive with the insurance. When expressing that it’s a big jump, the lady at the front desk was just very rude. Not just to me, but to other customers as well. There was a couple that didn’t speak English and she was very rude to them as well.
they called to cancel my rental the night before we were supposed to pick it up saying they didnt have a truck available for the time period i needed even thought they sent me a reservation confirmation three days prior. I then asked them to give me the $50 promised if they cancelled an order and the "manager" hung up on me. I called back, he was very rude but ended up saying he would refund me the $50. It's been two weeks and I still have not been refunded.
Absolute scam. First time renting with U-Haul and it will be the last. The truck was a wreck, the receptionist was useless, and the entire experience screamed incompetence. Matthew was the only decent human there. Then to top it off, you rob me with a bogus 2-gallon fuel charge after I drove 12 miles and even put gas back in. Dishonest, predatory, and pathetic business practice.
My landlords tenant was moving out with the storage box they drip off and Pick up they where the only people in the back yard the fence in-between are house was knocked out the cement and the girl said she did it now that are trying to stick the cost on the home owner and it's not right u haul is well insured to be this petty
Paula is the rudest, most disrespectful, most dismissive, raucous person I’ve come across at your place. She has zero customer service! That dirty attitude of hers will continue to turn people away from you. You guys need to check her; I don’t believe she likes her job. Please look Into this before it gets worse!!! Thank you
When they ask for an alternate contact to verify your identity just know that if that person owes them $1 they will ban YOU from renting even tho that person has absolutely nothing to do with ur rental and was to “verify “ ur identity. They …
I would give no stars if it was an option. General manager canceled our rental reservation bc she insisted my bf email was an invalid email. Then she had to call an emergency contact and I'm not a valid contact. No one answered but 1 person …
