I would give zero stars if I could. We made a reservation, but the person who booked it put HER name instead of ours. We went to pick up our truck and the (rude and unhelpful) woman couldn’t find it using our name. We tried several times to give our reservation number and she refused to take it. She argued that they don’t do that there. Whaaaat? I subsequently called 2 other U-Hauls who took the number. I had to book a truck in TEMPE.
Robinson Madera the “Manager” should no way be a manager. Doesn’t know how to talk to people. Doesnt take ownership of mistakes as a Uhaul employee. Continued to say I cannot do that. That is not my problem. Take it up with customer service. And then charged a fuel charge based a gauge. When I picked up truck it read 71 miles left on tank. When I returned it, it read 85 miles. Welcome to 2023 and mile reading gas gauge. Horrific experience and very poor leadership skills that was demonstrated to an employee of his.
Everything was great and the staff was cordial. The 26-footer on the other hand was not the best. The truck bounced around on the highway and 55 miles like it is going to break down and topple over. Please check this truck over. It will be a immense safety matter for sure for another customer. I did tell the staff girl checking me out with the transaction.
i ordered a 26 gr truck with mobile pick up at 5 am. they left me keys to a 15 ft truck. in customer service was not able to get a hold of manager. i had to wait 2 hours in parking lot for employees to come in all while i had paid moving help at my house for 2 hours. This screw up by u-haul cost me $600 additional dollars in payment to my moving help

I was initially going to the home depot down the road for a quick rental vehicle for large appliances, stopped here for a quick price comparison, turns out the associate Matthew, was fantastic at hooking us up with a vehicle/trailer for a great price. Quick setup, and zero hassle. The place is clean and speedy. And on a holiday and a weekend? Great stuff, come check out the uhaul! Ask for matt!
Great customer service. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and ready to assist you! The equipment was ready to go. Clean and everything worked. The staff hooked everything up and answered all my questions. It was easy to rent and return! Hands down recommend this place for any U-Haul needs!!
I cannot recommend this U-Haul location on Pecos and Power enough, and a huge part of that is because of Theo. He is the absolute best! When I realized I didn't have an adapter for the trailer's lights, he didn't try to force me to buy a brand new one—instead, he was kind enough to let me borrow one. You know how people always talk about how great customer service used to be back in the day, where the customer is genuinely taken care of? Theo strives for that exact kind of customer service.
I had the pleasure of working with Theo and the team at the Uhaul on Power MULTIPLE times (shout out to a cross country move). Everytime I would arrive there to buy more boxes, supplies, rent a truck (we had 2, plus a car carrier) they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I usually had a toddler in tow running a muck and they were patient and understanding. Always helped me load everything in my car on the way out! Thank you Theo and Team! You made a cross country move... bearable. :)
