I’m updating my review after my furniture has been delivered. The loading process was the least of my worries but the unloading is when the trouble began. First dealing with the driver and the unloading process was hectic. After confirming with him 3 times his semi would be able to unload at my apartment he kept insisting we rent a U-Haul and add more money to the already 7,000+ cost to the move. After showing him his semi WOULD be able to fit I found most of my furniture was damaged.

I cannot even believe how terrible this moving company did. I was on the search and reading reviews of all moving companies before choosing MMM to move my family from Utah to California- so I am writing this review to help others not make the same mistake I did. A summary for those who don't want to read the whole story - was over 24 hours late to pack - pack so poorly they ruined and broke many things - left behind SO MANY things at my house in Utah without even telling me.
There were a few issues from the start but my realtor recommended them so I looked past the issues...unfortunately once I got everything unpacked I found boxes missing. I called and no response. Then I got a text for their referral program. I replied that I will not refer the company to anyone because I was missing boxes and no one would follow up. The referral person said she couldn't help but gave me an email to reach out to. So I did. No response.

Do not use this company. The overcharged me did not bring all of my stuff. I am still missing toolbox, loaded with 20K in tools and multiple boxes. They're not easy to get ahold of They've damaged a lot of my personal items. They don't call back. I have called for days now. And no one gets back to me

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We hired this company for their supposed ‘white glove’ service. They moved us out of one house on a Saturday, stored our furniture and moved us into our new house on Tuesday. Somehow they lost 3 of our bar stools, and 5 of our lampshades. The lampshades were found 2 weeks later and all were filthy as they were not apparently in boxes. Note that 2 of the lampshades were silk shades from vintage lamps and not replaceable.

They had 2 people show up. But one stayed in the truck the majority of the time. All heavy furniture including mattresses, couches, and dressers were carried by one person and were dragged across the ground and severely damaged. I purchased the simplest “insurance” plan as an extra coverage just in case. When I wrote out in the end what was damaged, they said there was a maximum $75 per piece they would reimburse me because I had not chosen a higher policy.

DO NOT HIRE FOR YOUR MOVE!!!! This company was referred to me by my former landlord. During the initial contact I spoke to Chris who gave me an estimate based on my move which was literally 15 minutes from my old condo. Someone contacted me on the morning of May 16 (my scheduled move date ) 3 men came in and packed my place up in about 3 hours. They took about an hour lunch break and met me at my new place.
Overall I would not recommend this company. Be prepared to cover the cost of replacing almost all of your furniture if moving with this company. Positive: The company was able to schedule my move in 1 week which was faster than the 1 month quoted by competitors. When speaking with employees they are nice and seemed professional. Negative: When I called to schedule my move I specifically asked if the company was licensed and if my stuff would be insured. I was told yes for both questions.

I cannot say enough good things about this experience. After a stressful situation late in the day, I reached out after 5pm desperately needing help packing a U-Haul. Robert called me within minutes, walked me through my options, and gave me clear, fair pricing. I honestly didn’t expect much when I asked if they could pull off a next-day full pack and cross-country move—Robert said he’d call me back in 5 minutes, and he did just that, and he made it happen!

I cannot say enough good things about James Downs and Cory Pellegrino. These two absolutely knocked it out of the park and made this the best moving experience I’ve ever had. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Their skill at wrapping and protecting furniture and fragile items was seriously impressive. Everything was wrapped carefully, packed securely, and organized perfectly.
