In their own words
This service was easy to book and had great availability. I thought it is reasonably priced. My move included 5 movers who worked 8 hours to perform a local move 1 mile away. This became a 2 star review because of the poor planning and details. Personal items both small and large were left in every area of the house as the crew ran out of room on their truck. Dishes left in kitchen, bathroom was not packed, towels and blankets left in closets, garage and backyard items not touched.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
This review is a bit overdue, but Urban Movers—and especially Djan and Abu—truly deserve the praise! From start to finish, they were communicative, polite, and professional. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and handled everything with the utmost care. The team was kind, flexible, and compassionate—going above and beyond to make the process stress-free. They were even sweet and patient with my dog, which meant so much to me. Every item was treated as if it were their own, and nothing was damaged.
Our movers, Ruben and Tom (his English name), were fantastic. They never stopped moving until I insisted the rest and eat. I ended up having a lot of loose ends because of issues at my new place so they spent a lot of time helping me pack all of the little things I had left. We forgot one piece of my daughter's over complicated bed and they went back for it without charging. It did take longer than I expected but these guys were amazing and super friendly.
Urban Moving – Djan and His Team Are Rock Stars! Selling a house or moving is insanely stressful—but let me tell you, Djan and his team at Urban Moving took that stress and tossed it right out the window! From start to finish, they were absolute professionals. They showed up right on time (which is already a huge win in my book), and from the moment they arrived, it was all business. No standing around, no wasted time—just a team that clearly knows what they’re doing.
I was looking into movers a few days before my scheduled move and was lucky to find Urban Moving. Most other companies I reached out to had their "starting rates" listed but ended up having extra fees on top of that for various reasons, some of which would not have been disclosed until the end of the job. I appreciated that Urban Moving was upfront with their pricing: hourly rates, which depended on the number of movers, and with no surprise fees at the end.
