If you're considering this company, Google "Verity Van Line Complaints." I wish I had. I was moving from North Bellmore to Selden on Long Island. My written estimate was $2,392.

We’re moved from NYC to Florida, I don’t know why recommended this company to my husband anyway I’m the person who’s did pack all stuff we belong to the boxes and I remember which boxes is because I wrote what inside put on top of a boxes. When the company delivered boxes to new house I tried to open every boxes on next day and I very sure that we lost a boxes of canned food. It’s not in company box that’s why I remember.

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Verity Van Lines during my recent move. The service was careless, resulting in extensive damage to my home and belongings. My television was broken, my newly refinished living room floor was destroyed, and my dining table was chipped. The wood floors on my stairs—recently redone—were left with deep gouges. My newly painted walls were also scuffed and scratched during the move.

By far the worst company i have ever dealt with. They are liars and they overcharged me and didnt honor their insurance that they sold me. They broke a lamp that is an antique and are trying to pay 150 as a courtesy for it. It was appraised for way more than that. They also left alot of stuff behind inhad to fly back to ny and rent a uhaul truck and load it up and drive all the way back down here as a result. They also broke a bookcase and said they aren't responsible for it.

I gave this 1 star because I'm unable to give 0 stars. They lost an entire box of my property during my move and storage. When I contacted them I got the runaround at first and ultimately a claim denial due to the fact the inventory was signed off on when it was dropped off. How are you supposed to know an entire box is missing upon delivery? To make matters worse multiple pieces of furniture were broken. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Beware! These are not professional movers. They sent me college age kids. They didn't care about my valuables. They stacked all my boxes in the truck from the floor to the roof causing the bottom boxes to crush and break what was in them. If you value your belongings, hire a moving company that has professional movers not kids. After a relative of mine seen my boxes and the way they were loaded, he hired a different company. Be careful.

Although the movers were polite and friendly, as we continue to unpack, we continue to find serious damage to our possessions. When we initially reported the damage, the person on the phone was not particularly interested and send us some incomprehensible forms. No follow up on their part.

Wonderful and professional service from the beginning to the end! Well done! I would use you again and recommend your company to my family and friends! Nothing negative to say!
