In their own words
I hired this company based on a detailed inventory quote. I spent time walking through everything we needed moved, including furniture, boxes, yard equipment, grills, outdoor furniture, and shed contents. They estimated about 4.5 hours and quoted roughly $1,100. I arrived about 20 minutes after the crew, and I'll gladly own that delay. However, that doesn't explain why, by around 5:00 PM, they still hadn't even left my old house.
It seems like I can't get away from these people. Unfortunately, we had the worst experience with these people. After damaging the home we were moving out of ( which cost me 425.00 ) they were over on time. That cost me extra money. We were never paid for the damage either. Now, a little past a year later, we're trying to sell a treadmill that they had no idea how to move and we're missing some hardware because they didn't reassemble it.
Unprofessional, Overwhelmed, and Completely Unprepared for a Large-Scale Move I paid over $20,000 for what was supposed to be a full-service move. The company visited my home twice beforehand and assured me they could handle the size and volume of the job. In reality, they were not capable—and instead of being honest, they showed up unprepared and left me with a mess.
Valerie, We’re truly sorry to hear your moving experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we sincerely appreciate your feedback. At Veterans Moving America, we strive to deliver professional and seamless service for every move.
The movers and employees are very nice, HOWEVER, from the beginning of booking I was very adamant that I wanted all my furniture wrapped. They assured and re-assured that furniture wrapping was INCLUDED with the price of moving, and that in fact, if I didn’t want my things wrapped I would need to sign a waiver stating so. I trusted them with moving my things. Then I notice they loaded the truck without wrapping a single item. The drug my couch across the dirty floor inside and outside.
The veteran organization helping us received a quote. Veterans Moving America came and looked around and once we left to prepare to meet them at the apartment, they called the office and said they needed another mover to help because we had "about 100 more totes" than what was oin the inventory. This was an absolute lie, and they used it to overcharge the organization because no one was there to watch them.
We used thus company twice. First time no problems. Second time it was a night mare! I am a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served my country. These people just picked up our furniture and it seemed that they were in a hurry to finish the job. We told the lead team member Tim not to worry about our tv's that we would take care of them. We'll in the rush that they hurrying to get the move quickly they took the TV's. When we got to our new home Tim told us that one of TV's had sustained damage. It was totally destroyed!
Lidia and Daniel, Thank you for sharing your feedback and for choosing us for your moving needs not once, but twice. We truly appreciate your service to our country and are deeply sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your recent move.
In November 2016 we had them load 4 pods for us moving out of state. The loads shifted in 3 of the pods resulting in the doors being removed on two of the pods. Several pieces of furniture were damaged during the moving process including our leather couch. Prior to loading they took the legs off and then dragged the couch across the concrete damaging the wood frame. When first approached about it prior to loading, they denied damaging it before final admitting they caused the damage.
Jerry, We appreciate your feedback and were unaware that you were still unsatisfied with the outcome of your mission. We requested two estimates for the couch repairs, but you declined to provide them and chose to accept a flat $75 instead, which lead us to believe that we had made it right with…
First, they did not give a call the morning of to let us know they were only sending 2 "New" guys when we paid for 3. We filed a claim, and they messed up our refrigerator and only offered $30 when the fridge was valued at $3,500 and not for the Veteran at all. I will never do business with them again and hope that no one does. They are a rip-off and by far the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Explain how the owner is not a Veteran but owns a Veteran based company?
Jamal and Ashley, Thank you for the feedback. We are sincerely sorry that we were only able to send a 2-veteran team on your mission instead of the 3-vet team you were quoted for and expecting.

In their own words
I had a fantastic experience with this moving company from start to finish. The movers showed up right on time and immediately set a professional and upbeat tone for the day. They were incredibly positive, communicative, and made sure I felt informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. What really stood out to me was how conscientious they were with my belongings—carefully wrapping, lifting, and organizing everything with precision and respect.
I can't say enough about the professionalism, work ethic, communication, and scheduling for Veterans Moving America. Everything from start to finish was incredible and I could not have completed that dynamic move without their assistance. 4 movers and completed a move in a day that would have taken my wife and I days to weeks to fully complete. If you are thinking about moving and need help and you value professionalism, fair pricing, and timelines.
We moved from Azle to Weatherford and had a crew of five lead by Rosie. They were five minutes early to their proposed show time and they called first. They all introduced themselves and were extremely polite and considerate. After a quick walk thru of the house, each member of the team understood their assignments and went to work. We had a four bedroom 2 bath house with a full garage and attic.
Hi Kelly, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! It’s fantastic to hear that Rosie's team made your move smooth and efficient. Your feedback really means a lot to us, and we're glad we could help make your transition to your dream home a bit easier.
Once again, we had the pleasure of working with the outstanding team at Veterans Moving America. When the opportunity arose to move into a home we had long hoped for, we knew exactly who to call based on our previous experience. While moving is rarely considered an enjoyable process, the team made it as smooth and stress-free as possible. They arrived promptly as scheduled and immediately demonstrated the same care, professionalism, and attention to detail that we had come to appreciate.
Hi Randy! Reading your review brought a huge smile to the faces of the team here at Veterans Moving America. Hearing that we could make a significant move into your dream home as seamless and stress-free as possible is incredibly rewarding for us.
