In their own words
Hight recommended not to use it. They initially claimed only need max 4.5 hours to move a one bedroom apartment, ended up using 6.5 hrs because it took them more than 30 mins per round from apartment to the truck (with an elevator). They came with 3 people and only one small dolly. They only loaded up little bit at a time. And that’s not it! They don’t care about your house and your furniture. I saw they just pushed the dolly out the door and it hit my door and the door frame, which left a significant scratch.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I hired Winter Moving Company to help pack up and move our home in San Francisco, and they were fantastic from start to finish. Victor, Cesar, and Roberto were honest, hardworking, and incredibly professional. They showed up right on time, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and handled everything with care. Moving is always stressful, but they made it so much easier.
Thank you Keiko, we are happy to hear you had a good experience with the team and with the overall move. Thanks again for the feedback, much appreciated. Winter Moving team
Winter Moving is the absolute best! I’ve used them 4 times for moves and they are miracle workers. They are extremely professional, timely, efficient, kind, follow clear directions. Could not recommend them more. They take a messy house and carefully wrap and package, move things, fit them up impossible seeming stairs, help reassemble, etc. pure miracle workers. Also have storage and great pricing. Just use them! They’ve saved me. Referred several friends who have similarly been blown away.
Thank you Rebecca, we truly appreciate you contacting us number of times and being a repeat customer, means a lot. Super glad you were happy with the crew and everything went smoothly. Thanks again !
This is way overdue. I highly recommend Yotam and his team. We moved from South SF to further down the peninsula at the end of 2023. I got a total of 5 quotes from different moving companies and Winter Moving came in the middle of the pack. Yotam was one of the few that was willing to come onsite to give me an estimate and talked through options, his estimates is very accurate. Yotam is prompt, very responsive, and respectful. He called us after the move the following day to check in and make sure we were all set!
Thank you so much Tiffany, we know it was a super long day which is part of the moving process sometimes but glad you were happy with the team. We apologize for the metal rack, glad it still functional and you can use it, sometime part of the business as well but we will try to fix/replace if…
I recently had the pleasure of working with Winter Moving Company in San Francisco, and I can't say enough good things about the team that helped me—Cesar, Octavio, and Roberto. From start to finish, they were incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. Cesar, Octavio, and Roberto arrived on time and immediately put me at ease with their friendly demeanor and positive attitudes. They handled everything with care and attention to detail, making sure all of my belongings were safely packed and transported.
