Worth Moving Company Richmond VA

I would not recommend saving the little amount of money using this company it will cost you in the long run. They only showed up with 2 workers when promised 4 and this caused them not being able to finish in 1 day and we had to spend the night in a hotel. Damaged furniture from not packing the truck properly. Tried to file a claim with the third party they never responded and of course emails to Worth moving were never answered. Missing items that they said they would return and never did.

Moving can be a stressful experience and Worth Moving increased my stress level exponentially. For the record, the moving crew was four men. Two were pleasant, but one of them was careless and two were most unprofessional, unpleasant and careless. The only coordination during my move was a reminder voice mail the day before the packers were to arrive. During the packing process they commented that it was a relatively small job and they would be through in a few hours.

After submitting a request for a quote, they were very quick to reach out. They got my information and moving details over the phone and stated they needed to visit the house for an in-person review/quote (which is pretty normal). I was scheduled for 12PM on 11/15/2019, so I made arrangements to work from home. Long story short, they never showed up, nor did I receive a call from them to follow-up, apologize or reschedule.

I was quoted one amount and told maybe could be an extra $200 I said ok that will be fine. Moving day happens, the movers complained about everything, moved slowly, and then charged me $500 more than I was quoted! Ate on my clock which I was paying for, when I was not told I had to pay for that time! I’ve been trying to reach Melissa and she has not responded to any emails or calls! I would not recommend this company to anyone they honestly did my dirty!

When I arrived at my new home I discovered that three large framed paintings were missing. I called Worth moving who took a week to get back to me but assured me there was no way they could have been left on the truck and they had procedures in place to prevent that. After spending hours of my time searching the house I finally received a call from the owner of Worth moving a week later telling me that they had located the paintings which had in fact been left on the truck under some cardboard.

Met with Matthew gave us a quote that was abousoutly ridiculous, he did not write down anything in his walk through of our home, we are moving out of town from Virginia to Florida, his company claim to have Great Customer Service but never took the time to probably evaluate items for the proper weight and his Quote was off of 2400 hundred pounds off (that's a lot) and his price was over $3000 more $$$ He was very distracted and not efficient with us, I emailed him and he really did not care about his quote nor…

Disappointed that I trusted the owners words he said in front of my face. I had a lot of damage during my move. 2 refrigerators damaged one totally broken, a baby crib, vintage storage, multiple bookcases, etc. I was told they pay 60 cent per pound, I signed a contract for 60 cent per pound, instead I got 25 cents bc they deemed it acceptable. I have fought back and forth and I am so over it.

My experience with Worth Moving was VERY disappointing. Packing went fine, storage fine. But, they never delivered my 3 smart TVs, a table, a hand truck, and several other items. Also, there were a number of items that I had to repair or replace (if possible) because one or more parts were damaged. They seemed to give me the run-around when trying to get those items delivered later until it was obvious they had no intention of trying to get them to me at all.
