Beware of Yarnall Movers. My parents experience with them for a move to another state was horrendous. The day packers were at their home $800 disappeared from my mothers purse. No one was in the home except the two Yarnall employees. When they hired Yarnall they were told the move would probably happen within 2 to 3 days. They did not receive their items for 10 days. My parents are 88 and 93 years old. They were definitely taken advantage of.
I'm sorry to hear about your parents' negative experience, Sally. It's concerning to hear about the issues they faced during their move. We take feedback like this seriously and will use it to improve our services.
I have used Yarnall in the past, but NEVER again! Terrible experience this time. They ruined my 55" flat screen TV, broke one of my pole lamps, broke a night stand, messed up the shelf on my TV stand and scratched 2 of my dressers. When I called to report the issues, I was told someone would get back in touch with me, which they have not, but the person answering the phone told me that the items would be covered at .06 cent per lb., so for the 55" flat screen TV I will get $2.70.
Bait and switch at Yarnall Moving. I called Yarnall Moving two days ago to move a dining table approximately 60 miles from Sarasota to Tampa. I spent a long time on the phone with their representative, describing the table, it's weight and it's dimensions accurately. I was told the price would be approximately $400. Two days later when I called to make all the arrangements , Yarnall told me it would cost "at least $900, maybe more." Needless to say, I find this to be sleazy, deceptive business.
After 20 years of being a loyal customer I am writing this urgent warning that the current system is broken. Our packing was a disaster! The move through Interstate Movíng to Mexico City failed miserably. Many broken valuables. Glass ware, ceramics, and small tables utterly destroyed. We paid extra for “white glove” service. Don’t ever fall for this . They are refusing to discuss any resolution, falling back on “ we didn’t insure the move adequately “. This is not a first class operation anymore.

Referred YARNALL to my sellers for out of state moving. It has been one month and the second truck is still in Florida waiting for a driver to go to Illinois with half of their furniture and other boxes. I will never refer them again or ever use them! This is unacceptable.
Hi Sheri, I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Yarnall specializes in local moves; however, we partner with National Van Lines for out of state moves. For out of state moves, Yarnall provides a quote, packs, and gets all items ready for the move.
1/2 van came not enough room . 12/8 sent another van. It's 1 month and still don't have my boxes and furniture. Three times was told would come . A Nightmare and unforgettable. Paid over 6 thousand for service that never came .

We had a good experience with Yarnall Warehouse. The men who packed up the 120 boxes plus several rooms of furniture were professional, hardworking, and efficient. The move was complicated by the fact that there were three different destination points and everything had to go into storage for a week (i.e., off-loaded from the truck into the warehouse in Florida, shipped up North, then on-loaded onto a smaller U-Haul truck and delivered).
It sounds like you had quite the moving experience! From the sounds of it, you've got a great eye for detail and a knack for making sure everything is in order. Let me know if there's anything else you need help with!
We've experienced a lot of moves over a quarter century of gov. service and we rank Yarnell with the best of them. Yarnell handled two moves for us in Sept. 2017. the first, an interstate move of household goods (furniture, books, etc.) from FL to CN, loaded 12 Sept and delivered the 22nd.. Bob, the over-the-road driver for that shipment, was highly professional, articulate, and showed ingenuity and initiative when faced with an offload challenge at the CN delivery site.

Excellent service. I have heard tons of horror stories about moving and movers especially across state lines. But hiring Yarnall to move my parents from Florida to Texas was the best decision ever. They performed the whole process seamlessly. Gave a Competitive Quote , easy paperwork, set a date that was convenient for us, showed up right on time on day of the move with a large van and a a wonderful team of 4 men.
